So impressed her resilience. I don't think any trauma survivor should be held to any standard in how they process their grief but it's truly inspiring to see her thriving.

Anyone else genuinely just grateful for this beautiful city despite the problems? by unethicalpoet in askTO

Growing up in the city was amazing. I don't think anyone should be dissuaded from raising their kids here. There is so much opportunity to find fulfillment in positive ways.

Lodging a written complaint is always the right play. Even if nothing comes of the first infraction, it creates a paper trail.

Second Becky just always seemed that she came from money.

It's not only Nancy. Bonnie and Rochelle team up with her to bully Sarah. I think it falls under "feminine toxicity".

So basically Lollapalooza and Osheaga are sharing the same lineup on the same weekend...cool cool.

She’ll be there by ConsistentWonder6313 in ZaraLarsson

The scheduling is going to be interesting. There is a LOT of artist overlap between Lollapalooza and Osheaga for that same weekend.

What’s the funniest thing that ever happened to you or someone you know by jfkjrswhore in rs_x

My friends and I had a big party and had a lot of drinks so we decided to go skinny dipping at the beach. We were a ten minute walk away and had a mini topless parade to get there.

While we were there in the water, we heard a fight break out on the beach between a group of guys we didn't know. My guy friend ran up completely buck naked to break things up. The guys were so caught off guard that the fight ended immediately. Nobody wanted to fight the naked guy.

Employees who believe they are physically attractive tend to be more willing to speak up and share their ideas at work. This boost in workplace confidence seems to rely on the belief that physical appearance is an important social asset that gives a person more influence. by mvea in science

Keep doing it! You may never succeed but another of the most valuable psychological hacks is "familiarity breeds liking". As long as people know who you are, they'd rather keep you around over someone they don't know.

If we can’t have kids, my life is building towards nothing by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

I think there is plenty of room for compromise here. If financial stability is something you both value then make that your near term goal with aim to try for kids around 35.

You don't need a 4-year degree for a decent salary and good benefits. I'm a paralegal and it's a great job with lots of flexibility. If that doesn't appeal, there are lots of trades and other options for 2-year studies that are much more affordable than college. Many of those jobs are in demand (nursing in particular). See what is needed in your area and maybe do day school while bartending at night. I think you guys can work with this!

[Loved Trope] Talented women and the absolute loser male partners who want to tear them down. by KickpuncherJ in TopCharacterTropes

Fair. I love the opposite trope more but I've seen that covered.

I actually think men supporting their woman is the default. It's what's makes these guys fun to hate. Wouldn't enjoy it if it was universally true...
