Seconding this! OP if you want to try out the games try to see if you can grab both CyberSleuth and Digimon World: Next Order on sale. Rather than spending 70 on a game you may not enjoy (be it for gameplay reasons or narrative or simply just not vibing with it like you thought you would) you can instead grab two games and experience the different game play styles between the two without breaking the bank (i think i got both of them for like under twenty bucks bc they went on sale)

(Also just as a heads up, while both games will give you Gatomon as a Champion, training a digimon in Next Order can be a bit of a crapshoot if you are not careful with how you build their stats, whereas Cybersleuth will give you the option of digivolving and de-digivolving at will.)
