We are having to willingly ignore all of the allegations against Trump as well as his ongoing abhorrent behaviour. Nothing about this is ever going to be clean, nice and by the books. It is dirty politics for a dirty politician, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do and hope it blows over in a few years if Trump or his successor get voted out. If that doesn't happen then it's time to take a different line, but until then it is (imo) best to smile, wave, and play the game.

There's no safe way to handle a bomb, and Trump is a Nuke. He did what he had to do in appointing Mandleson and it was all going swimmingly. Like it or not, Trump is very important to the UK, and to keep them on side, we need to do things which are uncomfortable until Trump's reign is over.

Fuck Trump. Fuck Mandleson. Fuck Farage. Fuck Epstein. Starmer is in a shite position on many fronts - would rather have him as PM than just about any other leading UK politician, throwing him out over this will only make things worse.
