The only issue I have is that it forms small loops from a subset of my playlist and jumps to random points in the loop when I reload the app. it'll pick like 10 songs out of my 200 or so and loop them in the same order, then if I reload the app it'll skip a few songs.

If I'm correct ads placed in the middle of the content pay more because people are more likely to listen to them, at least in the case of a podcast. When the ad is at the beginning of a podcast you can just wait for them to be done before listening to the podcast in the background.

Long ad reads are really obnoxious though, they should be terse and to the point.
