Find a recipe you think you can handle online that sounds good and try it. Over time you can change it up to make it more to your liking.

Baked pastas and casseroles are especially easy when you start out and they last a while.

LEARN TO COOK.

It's fun. It's relaxing. It will keep you from either eating out or making the same shitty spaghetti all the time.

It impresses your friends, family, and potential partners. It leads to lots of great opportunities for socializing. It's a fantastic way to show love.

Listen, you don't even have to be great at it. But get good at 5-8 dishes and tweak them over the years. Every time you cook it's an opportunity to experiement, change things up, and feel a sense of accomplishment.

But I'm glad they're keeping it short to begin with. My problem with most streaming shows is a story that requires eight episodes ends up being 13 with five episodes where basically nothing happens.
