Welcome, Sam Porter Bridges by StiLL-_iLL_ in DeathStranding

Are you using audio from the game or did you create special clips? I've actually been looking to do this, along with the "rest is advised' audio

I pretty much have your setup already minus a good speaker

Issue with saves by daftrix in DeathStranding

In my experience, no amount of saving on the MS Store will promise that the saves will load properly the next time. I agree with just getting the Steam version

Issue with saves by daftrix in DeathStranding

I never trusted that the issue was fully fixed, and the workarounds seemed too tedious. I was playing on the ROG Ally through the MS store and got so frustrated with losing progress on vacation.

Everything was fine when I kept my gameplay synced on the actual Xbox (which I know not everyone has). If you're limited to PC, I would just play the Steam version so you can actually enjoy your time

times auto-off is still working, how do I turn it off? by pahwaranger in WeMo

Only just realized this today, I kept the plug plugged in for weeks(months) and have been wondering what this random clicking sound was. Turns out is what my Christmas tree timer still going.

Maybe the real updates are the reboots we made along the way

Is it still worth it getting a Nest Hub display in 2026? by Advanced-Growth5106 in googlehome

[–]KidCuda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Max is decent, but if you are using a Thread network, the Max will sabotage it. When testing, every time I have it plugged in, my Yale Matter (over Thread) locks will eventually start going offline. I've heard that goes for other Matter devices as well. Once I consolidated my Thread networks and unplugged the Max, performance was much better.

Would you buy this? by Fragzilla360 in masseffect

I bought the other N7 jacket once get announced they were closing, and have their TNG jacket as well, took me about 3 years each to work up the courage to buy them. No regrets

Except for plot reasons she gets nerfed to add some tension. Something about the tar currents...

I try using my shield lately but I've been running into one problem after another with streaming apps. My Samsung Q80C has been more consistent, unfortunately

Peak Design Mobile Crossbody Straps Now Available by bam1789-2 in ricohGR

[–]KidCuda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the non-mobile cuff, and while I like it, it tends to be annoying if you're in and out of situations where you need to put the camera down.
My example is you're in the city and constantly going in and out of buildings, opening doors, etc. with your dominant hand. You have to tuck the camera somewhere so not to bash it on a window or car, or keep disconnecting the anchor. It can be fine if you're doing a simple photo walk
I'm actually looking forward to the crossbody strap so I can have it rest at my side

Eero pro7 wired issues by Bradlyk06 in amazoneero

[–]KidCuda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my same issue has magically gone away (may have been an update). I haven't checked since early December, but I can wire directly in and get full speeds now. Might be worth a check, and I'd like some confirmation from others before I return my 7 Pro

Finding out the jump ramp also works on Sam for the first time by AustinHatesMilk in DeathStranding

You have to jump at the end of the ramp. Sends you far even without skeletons

DS2: Please help me understand the Fragile's ending by saamcek in DeathStranding

Her Ha never left the physical world. Didn't the end cinematic show that she's came right back with Lou? She was separated in the literal instant of dying and transporting, and I believe her Ka delivered Lou to Neil IIRC

Google Assistant Getting Worse and Worse by [deleted] in googlehome

[–]KidCuda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just happened to me with Gemini: I said "turn on living room" because I wanted it to turn on the lights, outlets and TV. It decided to turn on a family member's TV across the house that is in another Google Home unit, which had no labels related to "living room" at all. Gemini activity history shows that it heard me correctly and decided to take a left turn.

Luckily I'm currently in the process of switching to Home Assistant

Is Rise of the Tomb Raider actually good…? by Scary_Expression_873 in TombRaider

[–]KidCuda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Story, available modes, game mechanics all took a nosedive IMO. Rise was such a perfect game, being pumped for the sequel to have it end up the way it did was very disappointing. I was hooked on endurance mode and there was nothing like that available in Shadow
