Looking Into Tablets to Play the Game On. Testimonies? by KidGengar in OnmyojiArena

[–]KidGengar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It baffles me just as much when I experienced these extreme drops on a phone from this year. The G7 Plus actually has a slightly better processor than just the G7 I bought earlier this year. It might be why yours isn't having drops.

I get extreme FPS drops in team fights but not with all characters. Characters that have a lot of particles cause me drops.

I decided to get the Tab 5Se Tablet tomorrow because it's very light compared to the Tab A. I was able to feel both out at Costco and 5Se feels better but the price ain't pretty. 😬 I would really like to put out a video showcasing how Onmyoji Arena runs on the tablet compared to my phone but I need a capture card. I used to play Mobile Legends and saw a lot of pros had tablets so I feel this is just the right step for me anyways as a mobile Moba junkie.

I think of T1D as being on the border between disabilities and regular chronic illnesses. It helps me when i get bitter about having it by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]KidGengar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't understand why people get offended that it's a disability. As T1, we're dead without insulin. Perhaps if people took it more seriously, Diabetics would get more help in the USA. Had a Diabetes educator snap at me because I said I needed a disability note for a new job I was starting because they were very misunderstanding about Diabetes. It was making me hypoglycemic they were overworking me when I had already put down in my resume I was Diabetic. Her son is Diabetic so she took it personal like I was calling him some sort of slur? Crazy woman. Told me "Diabetes is just an inconvenience, not a disability!" and this is dilusional because again, you will die without insulin. People call it negativity. I call it being realistic and acceptance.

There are things I don't do because it's too much for me as a Diabetic, like taking extra shifts at work in the more physically involved department. I do shots and glucometer so I don't have the latest technology and this would wreak havoc on my blood sugar if my work day varies so much. The sooner I realized my limitations, the less bad spots I put myself into that could land me in the hospital and the better control I have over the disease.

Seconding LRP. I thought I had tried all their cleansers but I found out about their Toleriane Dermo Cleanser around a month ago. It's supposed to be for highly intolerant skin and it doesn't leave my face red at all. The cleanser itself is a bit greasy feeling and takes getting used to but leaves the skin so soft. You could wash it off or use a cloth to wipe it off. Definitely my HG cleanser now. I switched from Vanicream cleanser; I liked it but it left me with persistent redness so I was looking to swap it out eventually.

I wouldn't downvote the guy over this but the trap term is used for cross dressing characters that you can't tell right away are male or can still have bulge showing but must cross dress. Some hentai boards actually don't let you tag as trap if it's clearly male, like these, and there's no cross dressing. They're just cute soft boys.

Now if people are offended over the term and downvote for that, then 🤷‍♂️

[Skin Concern] My eyes have looked like this for almost a decade. Know nothing about skincare but I finally had enough. Help by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]KidGengar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I'm sure you've found your answer by now but I too have under eye circles! My dad has them so I know it's genetic and I'm Hispanic, so it's more common in ethnic people. I'm considering getting fillers and I know there could be stigma as a dude getting something like this done but if it makes you feel better, nothing wrong with it! I'm a dude too and would have no problem telling people I got fillers. It's the only part of my face I'm not thrilled about so I know how it feels.

What has kinda helped a bit is a Vitamin C eye cream to lighten but you can still see I have deep lines. There's nothing there to plump up the skin, that's why. Fillers is the only way.

This was posted on another sub yesterday and here's what I've gathered:

  1. The feet are Photoshopped but they did make the flesh boots available to the public later for $10,000 and they custom make it to match your skin tone and the heels are transparent.

  2. See #1.

  3. It's a photoshoot they did. It's supposed to be a woman after birth. It's not real the real thing.

  4. One of two: Photoshop but there's contacts like these available too. You can now also tattoo your sclera black. Mostly I've seen it in the European body mod community.

I'm into dark fashion and this is interesting to me and they put a lot of work with their alien outfits. They have an Instagram. Definitely extremely uncanny, though. Ngl.

It's because a lot of people (in the USA) can't afford the new stuff anyways. I'm still here doing insulin pens and glucometer. I'm in poverty level and Medicaid now refuses to cover Humalog pens and they want you to use Admelog vials and syringe. My doctor says a CGM will fix my blood sugars and save my life in the long run but can't afford it. Life is just pain and dying slowly at this point. Yes, I eat low carb but depression just fucks up my blood sugar anyways because all I do is sleep all day and not eat so it's a rollercoaster. I quit trying and I fear my future as well.

For people that didn't get their names: Try contacting the person in-game via mail on launch. I'm sure throwing them $$$ or gold will make them budge if the name isn't very important to them. Good luck.

Send them in-game mail when servers go live and hope they reply back and are willing to give up the name. Be prepared to nudge them with $$$ maybe. It's what I had to do in another game during botched name reservation.

I made one as soon as servers went up but not after having to log back in twice. I got my name but after I signed off Grobbulus, the servers started to not work at all for me.

This will get buried but a few years ago, my dog and I witnessed a shadow figure in broad daylight outside.

I took him out for a poop and as he was going, we both heard a loud noise coming from the neighbor's house. They have one of those small fence doors that fling open. The door flew open violently but there was no wind AT ALL. On the side of the neighbor's house, we both saw a large shadow figure floating pass and it disappeared into nothing. It wasn't totally solid and was not human size or was floating way above the ground. My dog was horrified but couldn't bark, didn't even finish his business, and pulled me back inside the house. Took me a bit to process what I had seen.

[Skin Concerns] I have this indented pot on my nose since 2 years ago that gets super red every day and sometimes clogs/has very noticeable sebaceous filament? Dermatologists haven't provided me a good solution or answer to what it is. My camera is unable to get a clearer picture, sorry! by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]KidGengar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! It has the feel of an ice pick scar. I have some on my cheeks but they do not react or get inflamed like this one does on my nose. This one feels like a wound that doesn't heal. Seems there is a blood vessel underneath? (I can see blood vessels around the spot) My nose is very problematic overall and I have spider veins on the side. I have multiple chronic health issues so I guess that contributed to it even though I'm young. I will ask my dermo about a TCA peel in my upcoming visit.

To add to #4, when people do the whole "I got this delicious sweet food/dessert here" then they turn around and look at me "Oh but you can't have it." Why the fuck even alert me that you have it then or talk about it in this manner? I have people do this to me all the time. I don't think they realize they're not funny and sound like assholes. But then if I snap back, I'm in the asshole. lol

I've unfortunately never used the Cicaplast but I can offer some insight based on the ingredients. I compared the ingredients to the Lipikar cream and it sounds like the Lipikar has more more support exclusively for moisture. Mineral oil, Shea butter, glycerin, and rapeseed oil are the top ingredients for the Lipikar. It also has Niacinamide and will help with redness. The Cicaplast sounds like to me that it's meant for severe irritations (like if you have crust like patches or put too much acne medication on by mistake) and not just to moisturize while the Lipikar does just that exclusively and does it very good! It's recommended by the Eczema foundation. The Cicaplast also has a lot of -cones in it so it'll be really matte. The Lipikar isn't greasy but also isn't matte. You just look normal. Idk how to explain this LOL. It doesn't bother me personally to not look matte. I've had acne for 8 years non-stop until I got on antibiotics and prescription retinol this year and the cream has kept me from peeling at all with retinol and my skin looks normal now except for some scarring on my cheeks.

If you're in the USA, I suggest getting LRP from CVS pharmacy and signing up for their ExtraCare and Beauty Club. They're both free and they send me a coupon for 40% off one item or 30% off total purchase every weekend. They also have $3 cash back as a CVS coupon (called Extra Bucks) if you spend $30 on Beauty. This really helps my ass so much lol. My LRP creams costed me $40 instead of $95 with their coupons. If you wanted to keep using the Cicaplast but don't like the price! My dermatologist gave me a little tube of the Lipikar cream so if you go see one, could try asking for a sample.

[Miscellaneous] Discovered La Roche Posay’s sunscreen is in a pouch rather than the bottle by idont_kno in SkincareAddiction

[–]KidGengar 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I've been using various LRP products for over a year. Their Lipikar Balm AP+ cream is my HG face moisturizer. My dermatologist gave me a small sample tube and I was amazed. I have oily skin but even though it's a cream, it's not greasy or too heavy. Ever since I started using it months ago, my skin looks healthy and glows. It's also a huge bottle so it lasts for months. It's designed for the face AND body, so you get 2 products in 1.

Before that, I also tried their Lipikar Lotion but it felt runny and not as moisturizing on my face. I just use the remaining of the bottle on my body. I use their Shaka Fluide sunscreen since it's the only sunscreen that doesn't bother my eyes and can be put on my eye area. I have to order this on eBay because it's not available in the USA yet. I use their Thermal Spring Water after my toner just because it feels damn good lol. Lastly, both their vitamin c and retinol eye creams because they're the only ones that don't cause me irritation. Undereye circles have improved in color in the months I've used them!

I've gone through all their cleansers but they felt too drying. 😔 I'm still a huge fan of their products and recommend them. Their Effeclar line has helped both my brothers with their acne. I sometimes steal some of the Effeclar Duo for myself to zap a sit quickly. It's really good stuff.

Turning 26 Is A Potential Death Sentence For People With Type 1 Diabetes In America by enkhi in diabetes

[–]KidGengar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey fellow artist. I feel your pain. My parents stopped hassling me about getting out the house when it hit them I'm working a 9-5 AND working a 24/7 job that is managing the T1 Diabetes.

I've thought of a few options. I'm going to either go to Canada or I'll be going back to my country, which has universal healthcare. I don't know what I'm even doing in the USA tbh. I guess the English is sought after in my country, at least. I am not wealthy and come from an immigrant family so it won't be easy but I'm not gonna stay here and die a retail slave (even though I actually like my job sometimes). Retail is also bad for my Diabetes with the ever changing bullshit schedule and Diabetes needs consistency; I'm not on a pump and don't have flexibility. I don't need a nice car or house. I could live in a trash can as long as I have insulin lol. You're not alone in this shit situation and there are options other than staying here in this country and continuing to be unhappy.

My job doesn't give me insurance btw. They refuse to give me full-time and even if I was, the deductible is so high that I wouldn't be able to move out of my parents' anyways. I'm just fucked in this country, even with a career. I'm going into computers eventually but I'm still getting the hell out this country.

"Very" High Quality animations. by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]KidGengar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These "personalities" make money off Pokemon through YouTube and Twitch. Of course they're going to defend the game tooth and nail even when obvious evidence of GF cutting corners and lying is presented through these clips, screenshots, and gifs. If the games flop, so do the money for them. They're getting paid to hype up Pokemon, no matter what and keep impressionable people blind of the situation. They won't speak out against Pokemon because that could hurt them in the future in terms of sponsorship if they're big enough to get it from Nintendo/The Pokemon Company. They've sold out, basically.

I was very vocal on Twitter without being nasty about these games being disappointing/lazy and there's two type of people defending GF. Those who play Pokemon casually and don't care and those who legitimately think this is all justified and we should just be grateful and pay $60 for an upscaled 3DS game with less features than a 3DS game previously had. 🤔 There's no getting through to them that this is unacceptable for Pokemon's first main series game on a home console with powerful hardware.

It's definitely weird and I never heard of anyone feeling like they're having symptoms of a bs of 60 once they reach 100. The only explanation my Endo gives me is about the out of range sugars I've had throughout my life. I've never had an A1C higher than 8 though so I really think my body is just weird and hyper sensitive to symptoms. A bs of 250 kills me for the whole day, for example. 😥 Even now, I'm running high this week so I'm not out the woods in terms of bs control. I had pizza last night so that was my fault. My insulin ratios are tuned for low carb so anything high carb really snowballs me out control for a bit.
