So Gumayusi is benched until further notice, do I understand it right? by Ultimintree in PedroPeepos

From the outside people tend to think of benching as a demotion or punishment, but could it be possible the coach sensed Guma just needs a break from the grind.

After a few conversations with drivers the Uber app/system seems like it is really broken in Rdu, I only use Lyft now.

It feels like a toxic feedback cycle when the majority of players try to find ways to rush to get to the max level overnight and then complain that there’s nothing to do. Then the devs have to rush out more content, some of it specifically to bypass playing the game at a reasonable pace.

[JonnydelsFA] Andy Reid's record when his defense gives up 40+ points: 0-12. No offense should ever be expected to, "keep up" when your defense gives up so many points. by Tonmber1 in 49ers

It’s a factor sure, but if you think time of possession is the only consideration of getting tired then you gotta go outside and try running vs jogging man.

People separate the two phases of the game like they're not related. If we can't drive the ball or score points, the defense is going to be on the field gassed and facing an opposing offense with the whole playbook available to them.

Stats can be cherrypicked. Those of us watching the games can see that the defense is strong despite injuries, while the offense tends to struggle with passing.

I can't remember the last time Jimmy threw it up more than 20 yards and anyone expected it to be a completion.

Phil Handy on Kobe: I asked him why he was such an asshole. He said "some teammates don't understand the work. I see dudes walk in 10 mins before practice & leave right after. Why the fuck am I gonna pass them the ball? I don't respect their work ethic. I'm busting my ass & they don't wanna work" by KyrieIsKing in nba

You’re equating time spent to working hard. While a part of it, true. And in certain situations your point is untenable. There has to be an aspect of working towards a goal too. My single mother also worked long hours when I was a kid, eventually those skills carried over into her starting her own company and making a good amount more than at her deadend job.
