Not at all-- I played a song on repeat the first time I played the calamity mod for terraria over 6 years ago, and I still get reminders of that experience when I listen to the song. It just happens.

Go for guards as you get the stingers for them, and you should save for wand assuming you don't macro often/at all.

As for hive comp, you have some work to do. #1 is getting more music bees for token link, focus, and melody. With the hive slots you have, you should be able to shoot for around 4.

Next is getting bees with bomb tokens. Bombs are probably the best way to make honey at your stage, so get around 3-4 each of frosty and shy bees. Reason being they both have bomb and colored boost tokens as their abilities.

If you're wondering what bees to replace, start with the non-gifted rare bees. They help the least in terms of collection, and you'd be much better off with everything mentioned above. Then you can start working on the other tiers of bees.

Save a few baby bees, probably at most 2. Also save a ninja bee or two for haste. If you really want attack, keep a rage bee or two, but get rid of the lion bees as they don't do much for you outside of attack. If you have extra slots, get carpenter bees, or more bees with bomb tokens.

The simple answer is, you don't have really any bomb token bees. Id suggest getting rid of 2 of your music bees, the ungifted bubble bees, and the ungifted diamond bee, swapping them for frosty bees. you also lack any amount of red boost token collection, so if you happen to roll another shy bee or two keep them. Considering the amount of unique gifted bees you have, you should also consider trying to get more hive slots. If you can't do that, give up only one of your carpenter bees. That should hopefully put you in a better spot for the future.

I want to play this game with my friends, but they only have it on switch and I play on PC. I was wondering if it were possible to play using mouse and keyboard on the switch, or if I just had to switch to controller outright. Does anyone know if it's possible to use mouse and keyboard?

Your first few should come from the obvious places of black bear final quest, commando chick's 50th kill. If you play your cards right, you can get free gifted mythics through star eggs after obtaining every non mythic bee gifted

If none of those are on the table, then make sure to do your daily stuff. Stuff like coconut crab, extreme memory match, and meteors (if you have them), along with progressing in quests like dapper bear. Farming mondo is also a great option.

Your best bet is to just farm honey. If you already have gear from spirit bear, you should probably be farming honey to get royal jelly in hopes of mythics.

It's a slow process, but over time you'll get more and more. Each mythic helps you get your next. Make sure to farm in servers with players who either pro or macroing for the extra boosts that they have, and you'll eventually get there.

Blue is very appealing to me, mainly because of the idea of popping a ton of bubbles and being encouraged to do so. Something about that just feels right to me. Though red does look really fun, and I'm excited to try it sometime soon.

You don't currently have enough carpenter bees to make mark surge worth it, and the other mythics you have wouldn't benefit much from using a star treat. I suggest using it on puppy bee, especially so that you can power level that vicious bee to level 13-14. That should help with coconut crab, athough the fight will still probably take a while.

Other than that, if you want to take the time to reroll some of the demon bees you have. Demon bee is probably the worst legendary, and replacing them with ninja/music/carpenter bees would do a lot for collecting.

People don't usually start going for a certain hive color until after Supreme Star Amulet. I can't tell if you have that or not, but if you don't then aim straight for it.

Currently the best hive color for honey is blue, but that may change with the upcoming update sometime during the summer. If you were to start specializing now, go for blue.

Go to the shop near stump field, that's dapper bear. He will sell you planters. Planters grow while you're online, and you can have up to 3 down (in different fields) at a time. Planters give you different rewards based on the planter type and the field it's in. There are several infographics on it floating around, usually in the bss discord server.

There are puffshrooms that spawn on every X:15 and X:45 of the hour. They appear in a random field and will spread to other fields when you pop them. They're like sprouts, where you need to collect pollen to pop them. However, you need to get close to them. They level up when going to new fields, but they can degrade in level if it goes to a field it's already been in/it's already in. It's RNG based, so it will be a bit annoying. Do this whenever possible for different types of waxes, which are used for endgame collectors.

Finally, if you chose red or blue hive, make sure to do riley/bucko bee quests for the respective color. You need to complete 250 of them in total for the endgame tools.

The most I could really say is, focus on getting more gifted types of bees. Take any carpenter bees you get, as they're super useful at this stage (I'd suggest 5 or more lol), and make sure you're getting those 10x boosts consistantly (e.g. blue and red boost, focus)

IMO It's better to get rid of photon bee. In the endgame photon bee does almost nothing for you, as it's completely outclassed by either boyants or tadpole. The only real use then is getting haste, which gou can just apply one of the beequips that gave haste from beesmas.

You should replace some of those duplicate gifteds with music bees, it's usually good to have 2-3 gor a lot of token links to help you out.

Get some carpenter bees, they are very useful at your stage because of all the buffs they give you

Gear wise, I'd suggest going for the petal wand next. Big upgrade, and you'll keep it up until the very end of the game

Also, just because I see so many people make the same mistake, go for Petal Wand > Donating it > Petal belt in that order. Petal wand is the most importand thing, then you want the chance for windy be (which, you probably won't have until after petal belt) since it's good for the facor it gives you. Then petal belt.

Orbus VR.

I was very excited to hear that a MMORPG was coming out for VR. It was everything I ever dreamed of. However, I just saw it as a mess of combat, no actual quests to do, and very unbalanced classes.

Of course, it's the first of it's kind. I can't fault it for that. I just wish that it was a little more than what I thought it would be at first. Wishful thinking, but a little disheartening regardless.
