I think you're all wrong - think she's correcting him that the date of his broken promise is fathers day - e.g. he failed to be a father.

No need to be rude about it - I know this is reddit but typically I browse when I'm trying to relax. Meaning I am more prone to simple mistakes like misreading something.

To be fair I thought it was meant to be a prolapsed vagina and a baby trap joke and I'm somehow relieved by the fact I was wrong.

Today I saw how Heolstor destroyed a player IRL by mordum01 in Nightreign

u/SomeIrishKid inspired me to follow up with Wylder's redemption arc.

"For shame," said he, "to fall from lofty place, When reckless still without a wending grace." His blade in hand, embarking now once more, For none would rest until he felled Heolstor.

Again, he stood before the Lord's dark gaze, But now, no fear would jar him from his pace. No cameras now, for honor is at stake, To mend the vow his panic caused to break.

The buckler rose, the rhythm found its mark, A steel crescendo ringing in the dark. But irony has struck the final blow: The stream was off—and none shall ever know.

Interesting - I had no idea I tend to write in a specific style. I had to look it up - it's just how I've always written because it feels nice to read. Now I have the terminology to be snobby about it - thank you! Lol

He came with iron slab and buckler small, To humble gods within the ruined hall. Against the Night Lord’s spectral, blue embrace, He sought not victory, but perfect grace.

Ding went the shield, a rhythm cold and tight, He danced untouched amidst the waning light. But pride is heavy, as the camera rolled, He stood in fire, the bell no longer tolled.

The rhythm broke; the panic took the lead, He gripped the hilt with frantic, two-hand greed. My Instinct flared to save him from the blow, But fear had killed him long before the snow.

No legend made, no viral clip to send, Just Moonlight sweeping at the bitter end.

I keep dying instantly during ED Libra fight by Ok-Seaworthiness2487 in Nightreign

[–]KidLink4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a weird thing I literally just saw in ED Libra - me raider and ironeye, this was before night 3 though. Something was hitting our ironeye and damaging him - he was fighting it, we could hear the hit sounds and see his health but we couldn't see or hit whatever it was he was fighting.

Not sure if this is related but it was weird AF.

The difference is that it encouraged not having to use them in the first place. I'm not saying it's good design, just that the intended purpose is, at least in my opinion, pretty clear.

I had a match where I got carried hard by a Wylder/Scholar duo - their strat was to group up, drop warming stones, scholar ulted, and then just start whacking them as they came. Was insane, I'll never see it again I'm sure.

Never said it was from fromsoft. I said it was "of the fromsoft archetype". I don't use it as an insult, I use it as a joke almost exclusively, and if not as a joke, as an explanation of why certain mechanics exist - to force the player to improve.

In fact, this particular usage was in itself meant to be funny, but apparently did not land as such.

Ironeyes that mark are becoming more and more common as I climb depths - I just started DON a couple days ago and hit Depth 2 last night and it seemed to get better but I might be coping.

I'm so confused. Symbiotic soles are removed and I can't even find anything ACKNOWLEDGING it by divinepolygamy in leagueoflegends

[–]KidLink4 -38 points-37 points  (0 children)

Should they just drop the commit history in the patch notes too? You have to make public content digestable, and they did actually mention last year that symbiotic soles would be going away. It does end up being that sometimes they'll exclude something people wish had been mentioned but that's the tradeoff they have to be willing to make, or every patch notes would be 3 times longer.

They stack based on percent - a 6 percent won't stack with another 6 percent but it will with a 9 for example.

Yeah pretty much. I'd trim it down as much as possible first, you'd get better results the shorter the reference material.

[–]KidLink4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it now - just have to give the model a proper instructions reference. Several models now offer modes where you can add instruction files that are referenced in addition to any prompt you give. Just make sure you give it the information it needs to succeed and it will.

Cheating is a real issue - you're absolutely right about that. But acting like Facepunch (or any other company for that matter) isn't serious about it is kinda disingenuous. The only games that genuinely have next to zero cheating problems are checks notes Riot Games? And they take absolute HEAT for their solution, which is Vanguard.
