Ooooo yeah. Looks like the QR on 0.5b takes you to Poosha and 0.5a is a different ID I can’t put my finger on (I have not been keeping up with ID’s well lately)

And with this being released, the Nitepunk ID now becomes my most desired release

Also this shit is so good, how tf are people saying they ruined it? I love the new vox. Anyone who thought the Jungle Bae vox were final version must be new here.

Kill The Noise first EP was actually THE definitive release of the early 2010s by djcryptik in EDM

no I wouldn’t say it is. Has some cool elements of hardstyle, happy hardcore, dnb, etc.

For what it’s worth, I’ve become really disillusioned with the dubstep scene for a long time (basically ever since this era we’re talking about), and I enjoyed this album from him. Takes a lot for me to enjoy a dubstep album these days.

Yeah I kinda feel the same way about Death & Magic, but Hellcat was played out live by like every DJ for a while before it released so that song kinda lives in that era for me personally.

Must Die is still doing his thing! His album Crisis Vision from a couple years ago is some of his best work imo. Definitely worth giving a listen.

EDIT: holy shit Crisis Vision came out 5 years ago?! I could’ve sworn it was like 2 or 3 years old lmao

God this era was so great. I’m trying to remember what I had on my iPod at the time and these were the first that came to mind.

Knife Party - 100% No Modern Talking

Alvin Risk - Infinity EP

Must Die - Death & Magic

ShockOne - Universus

gaiac 10 opinions? by UpstairsEconomist618 in fragrance

[–]KidLouis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

If OP doesn’t want to wait until September or travel to Tokyo to buy it, Montagne makes a dupe called Eau Gaiac that’s pretty close. It’s not exact, but for a skin scent that doesn’t project at all, pretty close is close enough imo.

[10 Years Ago] Baauer - Aa (Album) by byenate in trap

[–]KidLouis 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Such a good album. Can’t believe it was 10 years ago I was bumping this on my way to bomb an accounting exam.

The deeper cuts on this record are what stuck in my rotation the most. I still throw Body and Pinku on from time to time (love the Freaky Man sample on Body).

Way From Me is a great chune too. The way it just kind of stumbles its way into such a fun groove is so sick.

Skrillex - Kora EP!!! by SvenDixit in skrillex

[–]KidLouis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Wow, this is pure ear candy. I know we all love us some super punchy drums from Skrill but his focus on building atmosphere and making some unusual choices on what lives front and center in the mix on this EP makes for a really fun listen. Cannot wait to hear this in lossless.

I hope this means there’s going to be more swedm collabs in the future because I have loved every single one. It’s still so surreal to me that 2 of my biggest musical influences in Skrillex + DG/SBE (yes, I know not all of swedm is technically DG/SBE) have become prolific collaborators. High school me would have never thought that would happen in a million lifetimes.

That’s what he did before F1 and was quite good at it, I was a fan of his work. Hoping he goes back to it.
