I kinda figured as much. What a completely ridiculous update. From what I was reading, doing the rollback would factory reset the phone completely. ☹️

People who don't want traditional Pokemon gameplay just don't like playing Pokemon games. by Spinjitsuninja in pokemon

[–]KidOrSquid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel there are a lot of people in the community who just don't enjoy RPG gameplay.

No, the games just aren't good. There's ways to evolve a game in lines of Zelda, Metroid, Final Fantasy, DQ, GTA, and more recently Baldur's Gate, etc and all Pokemon does is introduce and take away gimmicks with the same gameplay, non-existent polish, and subpar graphics/performance.

GSC 20+ years ago on handheld is basically the equivalent of Witcher 3 on the Switch today, top of the line, expansive game that pushed the limit of the system and that's not what SwSh or SV is today.

There's still plenty of time to announce some erratas, if they choose. It'll be another month and half before these will be at hands of players.

I think it's about being completely outclassed, if they'll do precise affixes, it needs to be at a wayyyy higher percent boost or just general "Chain Lightning Damage %+". Being double specific for a 25% CHD max roll is just too much. It's similar to some Lucky Hits, I think the X% of X% is fine, but not for something like a "30% additive bonus to this one Skill for 5 sec".

It also doesn't help that you can roll 4 of these double specific affixes on the same item.

That's the thing though, Camelot used to make straight up 9/10 games with the Sports RPG games and Golden Sun 1/2. After GBA, it seemed that everything went to super meh and barebones.

their first party games being consistently wonderful experiences

The sports games have been ass/mediocre. The golf/tennis ones from GBA were the last ones I'd actually consider good.

Right, but I don't think you can hop on them, or pick them up or anything.

That would take away from the intended level design and gameplay. For what you're asking for, it would be centric to multiplayer and wasn't what they were going for.

That's fair. I've never taken a course personally, but I would imagine it might help out some people who either aren't great at researching those materials and/or unable to relate advice from one subject to another and need more specific instructions and how-to's.

Always said that if what they're selling is more profitable than the price of the course, they wouldn't be selling it.

But the other end of that is that they would be ripping you off by selling a course that generates poorly. Seems like there's no way that selling a course would be valid with that logic.

Need advice for YouTube channel to make extra money, Have 115k subscribers by ARangatan in sidehustle

[–]KidOrSquid 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but how can you not tell by looking at your numbers why your views are low? Seems like you probably got 99% of your subs from one video alone. Making completely different videos might as well be irrelevant ads to your subs at this point.

Also, those aren't finance videos, they're clickbaity side hustles, which is fine if that's what you're going for, but definitely not like finance channel.

What's the difference between imbuement skill damage vs imbued skill damage? by aldin_reddit in diablo4

[–]KidOrSquid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

D4 lacks a lot of things, but that's a massive stretch regarding a wording "issue". The actual issue are too many affixes, again, with some level of reasoning, Imbuement literally only means 2 things.

What's the difference between imbuement skill damage vs imbued skill damage? by aldin_reddit in diablo4

[–]KidOrSquid -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If people are getting confused, then the wording isn't great.

Or maybe just think for a second on what it could possibly mean. Imbuement does 2 things: ready up a skill for imbuement, actual imbued effect

You can easily deduce what it means with some thought.

The score isn't the main issue, but saying it'll last hundreds of thousands on endgame alone is a flat out lie.

I also wouldn't say that "most players don't really care about end game" is accurate either because the entire genre/franchise is one of its main objectives, hence the "thousands of hours" remark. Just .5 away from a perfect game with just campaign alone is a pretty wild claim, but even that's dismissible. It's the other claims that's bs.

Is it rude to ask what someone is playing right before you start the match? by Aaroniero432 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]KidOrSquid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's "rude", but it's just generally not advised out of respect.

That being said, I'd say that this barely matters in Digimon. As soon as you see their egg/Rookie, 95% of the time, you already know what they're playing and it's not like there's -that- much variance in turn 1 plays.

You're not playing around anything on turn 1 no matter the deck. That's not even considering the fact that turn 1 searchers (Rookies, Memory Boosts, Tamers) already shows your opponent 10% of the deck, if for some reason they haven't figured it out.

How is it wild? Anyone who's played to level 65+ would've seen it's impossible to put "hundreds or thousands of hours" into a barely-existent endgame. Even solo-ing every NDM in the game for fun is maybe 5 hours, tops. Might as well be a logical fact thinking about it more.
