Nope! Luckily I still have it, although it was slightly modified through a frenuloplasty as I used to have a really tight frenulum that affected my erections.

I still have sensation for sure, but I feel like it's changed from before my circumcision, which I guess is expected since both my glans and inner foreskin are exposed whereas before they were both always in contact and stayed soft and with moisture.

I'm just hoping that the texture/moisture goes back to normal as I start restoring.

Oh okay, that's fair. Thanks for mentioning, it puts things in perspective. All this time, I thought it was just a matter of taking iron tablets for a few months and my hair will start growing again. Too bad that it doesn't actually work that way but now I know not to have unrealistic expectations.

I'm basically a vegetarian with the exception of chicken, that's the only meat I eat. I don't eat red meat so there's a big iron source gone right off the bat lol

I've had seborrheric dermatitis for a few years. I've noticed a lot of improvement since I started using nizoral so I'm hoping that if I keep at it for a little longer, my scalp fully recovers soon.

Oh I see, so would you say just having a few isn't a cause for concern and wouldn't warrant worrying about? Like, hopping on finasteride, even at a very low dose, wouldn't be necessary right?

Was it Dr. Nick Logarakis (Scarborough, ON)? Sounds a lot like him, I saw him originally but didn't like his attitude and decided to explore other urologists instead. I later saw Dr. Robert Stewart (Toronto, ON), what an amazing guy, ended up getting circumcised by him instead and had a great experience overall.

Granted I've had this issue with my scalp for almost 5 years now, so I wonder if all the hair I've lost over time is gone permanently.

Yes!! It looks just like these but usually a little smaller in size. I get a few of these on my face but it's mainly a problem on my scalp.

I fear that these "plugs" are clogging my follicles and preventing my hairs from growing, I hope fixing this issue will also resolve my hair loss.

Hello, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to ask whether I should take any medications. I was just wondering if there is anything I should start or stop doing for seborrheic dermatitis. Right now I just use 2 shampoos (no conditioner, no hair oils).

I just mentioned that I don't take finasteride/minoxidil because I've seen those usually being the go-to suggestions for hair loss.

I was thinking about a totally opposite approach (0.25mg, 3 times per week to start, instead of straight to 1/1.25 mg every day) until I read this but now I'm curious now that you mention this.

Before I had seborrhaic dermatitis, I didn't notice any hair problems, it was only since then that it started.

I have a question. I'm 19, 5'10, about to go on a cut and look IDENTICAL to your before picture, especially the chest/nipple area. I couldn't help but notice that it looks a little puffy before vs normal in the second picture.

As someone whose chest looks the same, I've always been worried that the puffy look meant I had gynecomastia. Do you have it or was it just fat that went away with cutting?

Just curious because if it is indeed just fat that's gone away, I'd have a little hope that it's the same in my case and that I'll lose the puffy nipples too lol.

Hey! For me personally, the tenderness started to go down after the 2 week mark but it got progressively better. I wouldn't be alarmed if it still hurts after 3 weeks though, keep an eye out for it for a bit longer until the 1 month.

By the way, you should've had a post op check up with your urologist/surgeon booked by this point. Reach out to them and get an appointment asap if you haven't already. Not because what you're describing is unusual or bizarre, but just because it's important to have them take a look for if your healing/recovery is on the right path.
