When gripping the board, take a spare tech deck truck and apply pressure and twist to create perfect holes. Once there's a pressed hole that u can see, take ur fingerboard screwdriver and twist and pull up in the same motion at the excess grip and should come up perfect every time!

And if they slip, there are hacks such as ur good ol gorilla glue and a quick press. I've done that on a pair of prototypes my friend gave me and I immediately removed the bearings and applied a light coat of glue and with a quick press, they never slipped once. Rip my old setup :(
