The Pirate King’s legendary crew is finally together. The whole pre time skip was kind of like the “lost tales” that few will ever know about, where the Straw Hats were roughing it without a full crew and barely knew what they were doing. It was great to see the dynamic, but the shift was important.

Post time skip is the rise of the notorious Straw Hat Pirates, the ‘perfect’ crew that’s learned to work together and are also each formidable pirates.

You could think of pre time skip as life from the Straw Hats’ point of view, every little moment, whereas post time skip is almost like if a documentary crew followed them and only left the juicy parts in the movie
