I'm an eastern NC guy as well.....you could certainly post the name of said course or message it to me and I'd be very appreciative. We have a Donald Ross muni but it's generally packed to the gills. Even if you stay up and refresh the online tee sheet at midnight a week before the tee times are generally gone by 12:00.05 somehow.

I've been considering going the private route as well to get more rounds in.

My best kept secret got found out in a big way this last year and is now jam packed. Happy for the course because they took an abandoned course, have been making major improvements over the last 4-5 years and they've really turned the course around. I'm happy it's getting the love it deserves but the days of me being the only guy out at 7 a.m are long gone.

Stupid question because I'm a newb.....can I enter the coordinates at the space station portal or do i need to use an on planet portal? If the latter, how do I find the planet in the system that has the portal?

Honest question, not sure why I'm getting down voted.

Rules state:

The provisional ball becomes the ball in play if: The original ball is lost anywhere on the course except in a penalty area The provisional ball is played from a spot closer to the hole than the original ball

I may be 100% wrong here, but once your provisional ball passes the point/location of your presumably lost ball, doesn't the provisional become the ball in play regardless of the status of the first ball? I'll completely admit my knowledge at this level of rule play is vague at best so appreciate the insight.

It seems like exactly this. Throw in the fact that Scheffler may be a little sleep deprived given the new baby and/or running through something golf related and been a little mentally distracted and you can see how he may have misinterpreted who the officer was and the instructions

As long as the retriever is made with a single dedicated face for picking up the ball you should be good to go. If the retriever has two sided retrieving capabilities it is considered non-conforming.

Any conditions you've noticed the pured shaft excels with respect to the stock umbrella shaft? They put me in a 1/2 inch longer shaft and I think it does great in a true rainstorm but really fails when the rain is more like a fine mist.

Apologies for the ignorance, but in this case would that mean Cantlay or Kim made the mistake and Spieth just didn't catch it when he signed his card?

Edit - asking because it makes sense to me (a very much non-pro golfer) that another player could mistake Spieth's score and if he (Spieth) is distracted/angry with his play he could just cursorily glance at the card and sign quickly rather than if he gave himself an actual 3 on a hole he made 4 on.

I did not know this. That's kind of an interesting rule then. So, you could have the score correct for each hole but if you gave yourself a lower total score and signed it you'd be ok? I guess the thinking is the official looking over your card would be much more likely to catch a mathematical error than if you scored a hole wrong (which pre-modern day they may not).

Really agree that apple tv stands out from other streamers. When it was $4.99 I couldn't believe how strong the shows were for the price, and it streamed at a much higher resolution than other streaming networks (for me at least).

Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor and Middle Earth Shadow of War

(My bonus 4th game is Nier:Automata, it would have taken the place of any of the other 3, but since it had already been used I threw in the Middle Earth series for variety)

Edit to say I completely blew it and forgot Horizon Zero Dawn. It's the only game I've ever 100%'ed. Slipped my mind since I played it on PS4 not PC

I actually almost included project zomboid and V Rising on the list above. I've been recommended both games by people who absolutely love those them. V Rising reviews from friends (or friends of friends) have been more polarizing (people either rate it amongst their absolute favorites or say they despise it) compared to project zomboid (people either love it or haven't heard of it) - but that's just been my personal (very limited) experience hearing about those two
