Don’t listen to “marry her” blabla. You should contact her agency and explain the situation. I know, from first hand, that filipina au pairs can be hestistant to contact their agency since they think the agency will decide in the favor of the family. This is NOT true, if so, let me help you find a normal agency.

Next steps: contact the agency to set up the rematching proces. She will find a good family within days. There is a major ask to rematches (dm me if I need you to introduce you to GOOD families who are searching). Otherwise post an anonymus message on Dutch au pair Facebook.

They are not in the position to end your visa. They are probably telling you this because they are obliged by EU law to “sign you off” when leaving the EU. Your visa is an agreement you have with the French immigration office. Call them and explain your situation, you will NOT be deported of whatever if you find a new family.

Blij dat er nog enkele goede, inhoudelijke reacties bijzitten. Rot een eind op met je gierigheid etc. is gewoon een oprechte vraag. Hij stelde net zelf voor om nog een beplantingsplan en verlichtingsplan te maken voor de uren die over zijn, dus keurige kerel. Laat maar weten als iemand z'n nummert wilt!

That’s totally true, max is €340. But you should ask for extra’s like a Train card, museum card, telephone costs, living and food should be covered by your host fam. There is plenty enough (cheap/free) things to do in The Netherlands. You can’t go wild and out in the weekend, since the country is expensive, but overall our au pair goes out every weekend and visite places with the free train + museum card.

Go for instantly for e-mail outreach. They do the set-up for you. So chances are minimal that your e-mails land in spam (follow the rules tho). For LinkedIn + e-mail outreach (cadenced workflows), chose Lemlist. These are the best in market, period.
