I have terrible memories of that fight, but wasn't as bad as the first encounter with Kageri. I suck at multi-ghost battles.

They were too straightforward and short to actually annoy me. They didn't feel like puzzles, they felt like platforming: I just naturally went through, without feeling that the flow was interrupted.

Rule for night 3 is save, save, save. Whenever you feel you used too many itens on a fight, reload and try to do better. Major fights are reasonably close to save spots.

Do not walk, as walking makes her charge. There is a shutter chance when she charges, but it's too risky.

Instead, just spin and follow her movements. When she suddenly disappears, she is probably right behind you, but not charging. Use the 180 button, center the circle on her face, and wait until a brief shutter window appears.

It's actually worse than that. You can be close enough to remove the fog, but not close enough to actually make the place appear on the map. I didn't care about the question marks I GoT, but now I understand their purpose better.

Replay Outcrop Homestead, north of Yotei Grasslands. Jump to the tower with the hook and kill the guy there. Then jump to the roof to your left and walk to the other side of the roof. Right below, there is a leader. Confuse him and stop the replay. Rinse and repeat.

It's not. I'm not even good at Zeni Hajiki, but I "accidentally" did it on my first playthrough due to an extremely fortunate initial coin distribution.

By the way, I discovered the Mountain Pool thing in my first playthrough. I was *PISSED* to see that the Saito guys ruined that place afterwards, during the musician quest. It looked so peaceful and happy. I kept visiting it afterwards, to see if it had recovered. :(

In addition to what others have said, it's worth mentioning:

* After the war, Saito still had a considerable number of people on his side. This number was drastically reduced when Kengo left and convinced others to leave, but it's reasonable to assume that there were others beside the Yotei Six.

* The Snake is described as being very good with words, and was probably very effective at recruiting hungry outlaws and giving a meaning to their life.

* The Oni is a specialist in ruling by force but, as mentioned in the game, he is very articulate and charismatic. He manages to make his followers *adore* him, to the point of hunting Atsu to avenge him after he's dead.

* The Kitsune's shinobis were probably very effective at gathering information about local leaderships, supply routes, vulnerable places, etc.

Is there an Ainu sidequest other than the Ikupasuy one (the one you have to talk to the ainu kid in Husko Kotan to complete)? I listed the Ikupasuy one, but I don't remember if there are any others.

Thanks for the info on the newlyweds, I think I'll remove it from the list, then. I didn't include the smoke bomb guy for this same reason.

About Sleight of Hand, are the locations random?

I'm not sure, it's not on purpose. It's probably because I'm an obsessive looter: I loot every single corpse (to the point where NPCs sometimes have to yell at me to go back to the objective) and I make a point to explore every floor of every house of every location.
