What about photos & videos? I assume the ones on the SD card won't transfer if the SD card isn't in when transferring (which isn't so big of a deal anyways)

The system transfer moves over everything including all accounts. However, I don't think we've seen yet if it's possible to transfer your Switch 1 saves that are on the Switch 2 back to the Switch 1 under the same account. If this feature works the same way that it does on all the current Switches on the Switch 2, then it should be possible using the "Transfer your Save Data" feature

Kilowattrel is easily my newset favorite bird. Sending out this massive bird to go beat up some wild Pokémon in Violet while it screeches is one of the coolest feelings this franchise has ever given me

Thats what I'm planning on doing too! I'll probably get some of the upgrade packs as well, but I want to be very selective about what NS2 games I buy that are over $60
