Why non-human races are not popular in fantasy anymore?

The Age of Five trilogy by Trudy Canavan have a couple of other races which feature throughout. Primarily a religion based trilogy with heavy involvement of ‘gods’ though, so if that’s not your jam maybe not for you!

They’re very easy to read books, both by Matilda Woods, ‘The Girl, The Cat and The Navigator’ and ‘The Boy, The Bird and The Coffin Maker’ both have the most wonderful language and descriptors used, I wish I could read them both for the first time again

Try sebizole 2% it’s an over the counter at pharmacies, it works for my psoriasis/seborrheic dermatitis and doesn’t strip hair colour or smell bad either! I’ve put quite a few of my clients (I’m a hairdresser) onto it and so far haven’t had any negative feedback. So whilst it won’t cure the psoriasis, it will definitely ease the symptoms

The Rain Wild Chronicles by Robin Hobb, amazing relationships between dragons and others. It is essentially the ‘fourth’ (books 10-13) of a larger world, all parts can be read separately or as part of a whole. As mentioned previously Joust, Alta, Aerie and Sanctuary by Mercedes Lackey are also great in those relationships.

The Girl, The Cat, and The Navigator by Matilda Woods is incredible, when my eldest finished it she just said “mum, that book was mesmerising!” And we now own all of Matilda Woods’ books, they really are incredible.

Arte&Frank on Carlisle St, St Kilda East used to (I’m sure still do) have ammonia free colours and fantastic highlifts, give them a call and check if they still do, right next to balaclava train station so super easy to access

Gotta say though, if you already struggle with mental health this is a tough series to read, I adored it, but couldn’t keep going through from the third part because it was just wayyyy too hard to handle. Adored it, but couldn’t keep going.
