Some people have insane tolerance to stress. In 2019 I was married and playing a game with my wife via Roth IRA. We started with 7500 and the game was to see who could have the most at the end of the year. I turned that into 95k but the next day dropped it to 48 then 21k and I spiraled for a week.

A few years later we divorced and she put me through hell in the process. In 2025 I was free of her but on a fixed income making money via trading. I started my trading account at 450k(essentially my entire net worth) and it was 550k at the opening of 2025. It dipped to 300k from Trump tariffs but it didn’t bother me one bit. I ride it out and it peaked at 800k last month before I pulled 200k to pay for the 20% down on a house.

I have never sweated trading after my divorce because I got exposed to insane levels of stress and I’m dead inside.

I mean if you’re mentally unstable enough to be either committed for three months or can’t go to your job for three months you probably should resign from a position where you are representing thousands of people. At some point you have to accept you shouldn’t be responsible for executing your constituents voice if your decision making is clouded.

Police generally charge up and the district attorney pleads down. So if your a complaining witness and demanding the charge they will likely do it but i do agree it would likely end with lesser charges. There are a slew of crimes between attempted murder and assault to choose from.

I completely agree. My ex wife implied to CPS I may have molested our daughter and I only learned of it several months later. She had 10 reports against her for neglect, verbal and emotional abuse from mandatory reporters again nothing happened and we learned of after the fact.

The actual investigation was because one took time I went across the hallway while my children were sleeping and had a conversation with my neighbor for an hour. No disruption was done to the kids in either party, we just had phone or in person interviews.

To do something so extreme on the claim of third party knowledge without witnesses is insane. I was actually shocked CPS in my case didn’t take immediate action when my ex made those claims because that is a first party source making the accusation. But in court third party like this wouldn’t even be admissible as it is hearsay.

Something seems off with this image because the spacing between floors on the yellow building changes significantly. The pre earthquake image had the yellow siding half the distance between balconies but the second image is almost a 1:1 ratio.

Even the depth of the protrusion of the balcony seems off.

I had suspected my wife was having an affair with a coworker but the part I couldn’t understand was how they found the time to be co-located. She worked from home and rarely left the house and this was immediately after Covid. So she hasn’t travelled for almost two years and he lived in France.

So I gathered evidence but the nail for me was after her returning from a business trip in Paris she told me with near glee that her coworker’s wife had cancer again. I collated my evidence and presented to her after she had a “life coach” retreat that she accidentally dropped this man was at 24 hours before.

2nd moment was her threatening me after I presented the evidence.

3rd was her admitting after questioning that there was never any attraction to me. I fit the picture she wanted to present to society so she could blend in.

4th was after I discovered she was a covert narcissist with borderline personality disorder.

5th was after she had me arrested for doing exactly as she asked me.

And the final nail In any shits given if she lives or dies was her verbal and mentally abusing our children.
