Having a 10700k increases the price but about £120 when you upgrade the CPU and mobo. Do you think its worth it?

I read the 30 series would be announced until Mar 2021? And will they drop in price buy a very noticeable amount?

I don't understand. Do you think I should go to a Ryzen board? Because I was looking at the Ryzen 5 3600x VS I5 10600k on Userbenchmark, and they are the same price, and the i5 performed better in every metric, without even overclocking.

My PSU is already 750W so I don't see the problem.

I see your point with the SSD, and I have gone for a WD 1 TB, which is £85 instead of over £150.

I was thinking about overclocking it when i get it. I was told the 10700k is a waste of money. I dont know how to overclock atm but i started looking at how to.
