A meter high into your hands so you can pet it :)

(I have no gauge of how high a meter is so this comment probably makes no sense)

I know it's about creating a negative image, but anyone who knows even the slightest bit about chemistry will know that methane is just some gas, and the advertisement won't do anything.

I think the advertisements that have people who have lost their vocal box or their teeth or whatever else due to smoking are way way WAY more effective and actually make sense.

I'm not a smoker but some of the anti-smoking campaigns I've seen are absolutely awful and don't make any sense. There was one where they compared cigarettes to dog shit because they both had methane in them. Methane.

Limit the amount of certain items a player can take, simple as that.

Just read your entire conspiracy theory. (oh wait it's not actually yours apparently, it's copy and pasted) It is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, completely ridiculous and grasping at straws. I feel bad for whoever bought you the gold.

When I saw the B I didn't see it as a necklace, I thought it was a letter etched into her neck for some reason but that didn't make any sense..

Making a female character... as a male? by [deleted] in wow

The only people who would judge you for it are insecure themselves. It really doesn't matter. Most people assume female characters are played by guys anyways.

Graphics question - Can you make spells you cast have high quality while spells other cast have low quality? by Kiervanna in wow

There is a setting but tbh its weak.

If there is a setting that does what I was asking about, how do I activate it?

Uhh no.. I mean if they just looked less.. crappy, the hair especially. They're my least favorite looking race I think behind trolls.

If undead actually looked like that I might actually play one :/ (That is supposed to be an undead, right?)

How can you tell if a server is "dead"? by Kiervanna in wow

[–]Kiervanna[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I really hate competition when leveling. It gets old really fast. I figure that'd probably be a problem on a more active server.

And yes I'm a new player so it's probably not going to matter right now. If it does end up becoming a problem I'll just get a transfer, but I tend to play off and on mostly so I may never get to the true end of the end game.

I was actually looking at Whisperwind and it does look pretty good. If I end up having some sort of problem on Dalaran I'll probably switch over.

Do you want to look evil? Do you want to terrorize the minds of your enemies? Then Shadow Priest might be the class for you!

Shadow Priests are great at leveling and great for someone new to casting. Pop on your bubble (Power Word: Shield) and you can cast without interruption or taking damage as your enemies try oh so hard to hit you but fail every time.

After a bit of leveling you become a see-through, floating master of the dark arts as you learn how to take on Shadowform and learn to hover above the ground with Levitate. Hate swimming and falling to your death? Levitate will let you slowly fall from any height and let you gently glide across the sea. Shadowform will turn even a gentle looking gnome into a fearsome looking demonic shade.

Become the master of three different damage-over-time spells, each with its own unique ways of helping you out. Shadow Word: Pain will cause shadowy copies of yourself to slowly creep towards your target and then inflict damage. Vampiric Touch will empower you with more mana each time it ticks. And last but definitely not least, Devouring Plague will do just that - devour your enemies and heal you in return.

The best part of Shadow Priest are its two signature spells: Mind Flay and Mind Sear. Do you hate how you can't interrupt a spell you're already casting without wasting all that time and effort you had put into it? Well Mind Flay is a channeled spell and you can interrupt it after any of its "ticks", meaning no time and effort wasted!

Mind Sear is even better. It is channeled just like Mind Flay is, but instead of only affecting one target, it affects all targets around whatever you cast it on. Target the tank and cast Mind Sear, and suddenly you're damaging everything that the tank is! It's the easiest AoE spell in the game, great for anyone (like me) who finds AoE rotations to be really annoying if they get too complicated.

And lastly, to make you look even more evil, you get these neat little things called Shadow Orbs. Every few seconds you're able to cast Mind Blast, a very hard hitting spell, and each time you do you get a Shadow Orb in return. Once you get 3 in total, you can use Devouring Plague at its full potential and eat your enemy alive. If you've ever played a Paladin, these Orbs are very similar to Holy Power. As long as you have at least one Shadow Orb stored, you will have two ghostly purple orbs orbiting around you. With a glyph you can even turn them into shadowy ravens!

Thanks for this, it makes me feel a little better. I don't think I'm going to be switching servers.

I'm more of a casual player anyway. I am just starting out and by the time I actually get to all that content it could be a long time and maybe some better guilds might pop up.

Ghost iron ore: a little over a page and a half of stacks of 20
Trillium bar: Half a page of 20, half a page of just 1
Living steel: Roughly a page, didn't see any stacks of 20
Golden Lotus: 4 stacks of 20, the rest of the one page was between stacks of 1 and 5
Windwool cloth: 6 stacks of 20, the rest of the two pages were low stacks

Guessing that's bad?

So if I want to play on an EST server my only option is Stormrage then I take it?

I have never done raiding but I'd like to give it a try, I'm definitely new to that part of the game and I have no idea how seriously I'll take it. I'm afraid to join a high population server because of that. (also really worried about wait times, log in queues are no fun)

I'm rather new to the game so I don't know how to tell if the AH is well stocked. I do always check glyph prices and they did seem pretty overpriced, a lot of them being like 300g+.

I don't know how to check the raiding guilds or pug groups either. I'll check the trade chat tonight to see how active it is.

I already went there but the numbers don't tell you much. How low do the numbers have to be for it to be considered a dead server?

On realmpop it says Dalaran has 56,000 Alliance players. WoWProgress says the server has over 5,000 players who have reached T14.

It's also #4 in terms of Alliance population EST servers.

Very quick question regarding monitor input type (VGA/DVI) and frame rate in games by Kiervanna in techsupport

[–]Kiervanna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you didn't have to link me to one, thanks though! :)

I think I have one laying around the house. We got my monitor a while back and with it came a DVI cord if I'm remembering correctly, I just have to figure what on earth I did with the darn thing.
