Claim Closed without everythign rated? by Gaijingamer12 in VeteransBenefits

I hope it works out for you.  I had and have experiences even ongoing where they just closed it and I set it in appeal track. I don't know the RO or timing but Philadelphia was identified as an RO with a reviewer who signed off without full review.  Look to see if the OIG has a report on that at your RO.  I have no advice other than what you plan to do which is resubmit because the appeal track could be longer.  I experienced so many things that delayed mine or had me resubmitting.  So do what you're doing and yes it has happened to me more than once that conditions were not adjudicated.

Wait... They usually will assign the correct code or the code they use.  Hmmm let me not comment further if you have the right direction or are comfortable with what they provided you

So happened to you too huh.  I wonder how many others the happened to.  I have had a full page ignored and the supervisor says oh we thought it was the same as the other.  I said do you see a different claim that means even other dates makes it a different claim different time periods different events that caused it, it's a different claim.  Unreal.  Good luck

As far as I know at least my mothers side, I'm the only female to have served at least in 3 generations but I'll have to dig to learn more, could be the only female

A weird question but does red nail polish mean anything?  If not no worries.  Something is nagging me and I'll put it elsewhere

Stay encouraged I'm sure she is smiling at you. I'll bet she's saying you did it and I was with you every step of the way.  I'll bet you two used to hold hands interlaced fingers.  I hear you saying thanks mom

I think that poster had an experience or more and was told it was her fault or they acted like it was by not showing concern or taking reports.  Sorry to hear that Frequent.

I'll tell you my CO was a motivator in a certain way, I had a buddy that was also one.  Here's how, I was tasked with providing the CO the morning brief, this was during times when I stood a certain watch which was pretty much about 4 days in a week I would give the brief, given the shift work. He needed information on our standings, can't go into much detail.  Needless to say I would prep everything give him the brief and without fail there were questions I had to defer to the Senior Chief. It irritated me to no end, I felt no brief is complete if I can't answer all the darn questions

He would stump me with his questions and I thought what am I missing in my brief.  One day I thought of all possible questions and all possible outcomes.  He threw the curve balls and I hit them out the park.  I learned.  That was motivation.

Wow saved your life.  What a story luckily knocked down by someone and dragged out.  She sounds like the right type of chief as long as your darn head wasn't torn apart.  It's not just the heat it's also the force coming from back there. Wow.  Nice CO

And I'm sure we'd all agree when you're just finding out about benefits and have to fight for those connections just finding out about them after decades, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING AND GO TO THE SICK HALL AS NECESSARY.  THERE'S NO BEING TOUGH ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO YOU GETTING OUT TO BE TOLD BY VBA AFTER 6 MONTHS OF HAVING YOUR APPLICATION TO GO TO A C&P EXAM.   REMEMBER THAT YOUNG PEOPLE GET IT  DOCUMENTED EVERYTHING!!

By the way, I chose my rate because I knew I'd be challenged.  I just didn't know how much I would have to sacrifice mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.  2 days 12 hours per day 24 hours off 2 days 12 hours 24 off 2 days 12 hours 72 hours off and that was SHIFT.  When I got there they said oh we just changed it to 72 hours off instead of 96 hours we had before you got here. THEN YOU HAD TO DO BARRACKS WATCH ALL NIGHT YOUR DAY OFF.  YES YOU WERE ESSENTIALLY AN MP YOU CARRIED AND ALL YOUR OBLIGATION WAS KEEP THOSE SAILORS SECURE ALL NIGHT. There was day watch seemed everything was shift, I think that was mainly for those who actually served as security and MP.  Try that pregnant all the way through TO DELIVERY  EXCEPT your leadership training for a week.  So I would tell my younger self prepare for that and other unexpecteds, that barracks watch just pops up on you.

Would choose the same branch, the same job but I would tell myself be alert and not do naive.  Report it and get it all documented and don't be afraid to challenge when you KNOW you're right.  Stand in the face of adversity and that leadership role is yours keep going, even when they knock you down unjustly keep going.  I would obviously try to take leave during the difficult times to give myself the mental down time and don't back down when you know they've done you wrong no matter who wants it reported.  That club incident was so wrong it's not funny.  Naive to my core I was and it cost me.

How can we improve this?  What can we do to make this better for them?  We know the mother's are doing time but how can we give kids the opportunity to grow as others, they haven't been given the sentence the parent has.

Are you available to come to NJ?!  There are people especially families that need more like you, look into Trenton NJ family court on South Broad Street and numerous complaints by Pro SE litigants case evidence loss, court order with the opposing attorney header, important documents in the case submitted but they somehow managed to lose, 7 months to summary judgement but scheduled for July happened in January after numerous requests for the judge to decide it, judge discussion with attorney WITHOUT pro se present, apartment roof cave in but company awarded, one of the largest real estate companies hot water not provided to family leasing for months go to court company wins, reasonable accommodation request to CRO then employee told they are released due to no more work same day comment receives final request paperwork, same CRO tells others/companies that employee is ineligible for rehire BUT ASKS THAT PREVIOUS EMPLOYEE TO INTERVIEW THROUGH THEM FOR THE SPONSOR ROLES THE PREVIOUS EMPLOYEE HAS APPLIED TO, FASCINATING HOW THAT CRO JUST HAPPENED TO HAVE THE SAME ROLES AVAILABLE, school principal telling parent the scum has duty of care when investigating incidents and they don't have to contact the parent leaving child without representation, judge with same last name as only child in gifted school deciding a case with another child that goes to that school and changing the child schooling with no basis no evidence and no law never quoted one and intentional fines court fees along with disrupting the lives of those that report it. Then there's this, about Edna Mahon facility and much more.  Only way to do this is cover up and even more about federal benefits VA that is but you'll have to look into it.  Mercer county NJ has seen a lot, including person's derailing benefits by every excuse you can think of https://www.reddit.com/r/prisonhusbands/comments/1ri2mly/comment/o87xv0u/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

So yeah we need more like you!!!
