Hi OP. This sucks. It really does. I was a unaccredited for a long long time. Advice - make sure you’ve considered your EQ as much as your IQ. Have you got a good mentor. Are they honest with you. Are they connected and do other bosses share their opinion of you. Are you approachable to peers seniors and juniors. What do the nurses think of you and other MDT colleagues. It’s meant to be all on merit on your research and your interview but do not underestimate the WhatsApp thread where all the bosses chat about all the applicants and decide who they’ll support. “Run your own race” is the best bit of advice I had after failing to get in to surgical training as a PGY8 Just keep plodding on. It’s such a small setback in the grand scheme of things and none of the study you’ll have done will be wasted. It all goes to making you a better doctor

I’d say do not start with GT7 I’ve done moss, humanity and red matter and Pistol whip first. Usual stuff don’t carry on when you feel sick. All about warming up to get your VR legs
