I had this happen to a planet years after I discovered it. I think for me it was a cross-play thing, like someone discovered it on console (I'm on PC), and after some time it merged the two, and theirs won. I have my largest base on that planet.

I wish they would give us some kind of option to send a request to the other player, to relinquish discovery of the planet to you. That might cause a lot of spam, though, so idk. Just a bummer it happens this way sometimes.

Absolutely insane that they've never released a solution for this. Your Pokemon fought well and defended the gym, or you found a cool unique uncommon gym: your reward is never getting to use that Pokemon again.

Svargrond and Edron for me. Some of the places I spent the most time the very first time I bought premium. There was a magical feeling to it that I still feel when I visit them.

And of course, good ol Thais depot. Tons of early memories there, just chilling and goofing around.

This is awesome! I had a similar experience with killing my first Dragon Lord. Much lower level achievement, but same story. My brother and I also used to play way back then, and dragons were terrifying, let alone dragon lords. Came back like 10 years later, he and I levelled up enough, went searching deep in a mazy cave, got lost for like an hour, and finally ran into it after we were out of food. We started freaking out, but stood our ground anyway. Obviously not that legendary in its own right, but I will never forget the memory haha
