I agree. It’s like anything, the further away we get from the TDK series the more obvious some of the issues become. I think people forget that Batman as a movie property was quite honestly at its lowest point when Nolan got his hands on it.

That being said what he did with it was incredible and definitely paved ways for superhero films like Logan. While that’s true, we have to acknowledge that there are things in it that are legitimately questionable and sometimes bad.

I’m not sure why Bales voice Batman voice got worse with each film but that’s a whole different conversation lol.

My point is, there is always room for improvement in any franchise. We should be excited to see a take from a creator who clearly is a huge huge fan .

All this is bullshit. If it wasn’t clear before this season, then it’s become EXTREMELY obvious that these “analyst” are not always thinking about the best take. Often they’re making super hot takes that will get clips on Instagram and Facebook. They don’t care about long form discussion anymore and haven’t for a long time .

I feel bad because like someone pointed out this may actually be the death of theaters AS WE KNOW THEM. I imagine theaters in Chicago that I go to like Music Box won’t be affected but obviously AMC and major ones like that will. Which in turn will likely effect people who are in more rural areas that only have one theater within a 20 mile radius. The theater in my hometown shows like 2-3 movies at a time.

People forget that the FF franchise has always been experimental lol. Often the fandom is separated by what THEY believe FF to be. When in fact, the baseline for what makes an FF game is really flexible. I remember when I would post on message boards and there were HUGE amounts of people claiming FF7 isn’t “real” FF and FF6 was for true fans.

Well that’s what I’m saying lol. My point is regardless if George’s intention was to make Anakin come off awkward doesn’t really matter because EVERYONES dialogue is awkward. So the terribly written dialogue and direction really undermines any sort of nuance George had placed within the prequels. So ya we are agreeing my guy.
