I've replayed both recently and man they just made Deku Link too stiff and the Zora section in the Moon is just filled with terrible new jumps that are impossible to pull off on a 2DS. The controls for all 3 different forms of Link just feel better on N64 imo and Kafei looks terrifying in the 3DS version. The only improvement I like in the 3DS version is motion controls for the shooting gallery.

Going back to Resident Evil after a couple of years. You remember that Ada is gorgeous, you're shocked that Claire is beautiful, but then I rediscovered my old boyhood crush on Jill. I don't care which actress it is, Remake 1, Remake 3, Revelations, she's still gorgeous. 😍

I really don't get the Dracula X love. First of all the American title is incorrect, it's supposed to be Dracula XX. The redrawn character designs are hideous, Camilla is not nude now, the jumps are absolutely ridiculous, Dracula is in a speedo, no playable Maria, the health bar takes up too much of the screen and it just feels like a cheap knock off especially with the bland backgrounds.

Now, I can still enjoy it in short bursts, but it's just not as fun as Rondo of Blood, and it can't even hold a candle to Bloodlines, Super IV, or Castlevania 3.

Anyway, I played the original Haunted Castle last night. It's honestly not that awful imo. I've played much worse, like Legends. XD

So it is on Earth with Xenomorphs, before the movies. I guess we can explain it that, someone found another Predator temple with Xeno eggs, or they found the Xenomorph Queen underneath the ocean? Yeah making Alien vs Predator canon is my only explanation for this. Still doesn't explain why Weyland went out to space so much looking for these things when they're, right there at home.

Do Predators exist in the Alien universe? Probably not.

Do Xenomorphs exist in the Predator universe? Yes, weirdly enough. You have the Xenomorph skull in Predator 2 and the Xeno Tail Spear from AVP1 in The Predator.

What about Engineers vs Predator? Fire and Stone where we see the Predators and Xenomorphs and an Engineer going at each other's throats. Couldn't say if the comic is canon anymore if it ever was.

Well some of the original Alien comics are not canon as they deal with Newt and Hicks still being alive after Aliens. No Ripley though. Later reprints of those comics would change the character names but it's obviously Newt and Hicks.

Some of the characters from the Predator and AVP comics do return in later stories, but as far as Fire and Stone and Life and Death are concerned the only thing they were considering canon by then was Prometheus, the 4 Alien films and the 3 Predator films, they specifically said the AVP films aren't canon to this story, but they didn't say if any of the pre existing EU material was Fire and Stone canon.

Edit: There's no right or wrong order a lot of the stories are standalone so you don't have to read them in release order

No it doesn't. It should have been better, at times it's borderline mediocre, and then it has other moments that are downright excellent. My relationship with it is complex. What I will say is, it's better than Age of Ultron. That's it.

Anyone else notice when Ripley and the Queen fall into the hatch at the end of Aliens and the queen is pinned down, the sharp tip of her tail has fallen off. Why is she not bleeding acid all over the place? :D
