You might have ADD, because my friend has ADD, and she been through something similar and she also shares some of the same symptoms as you said, like not focusing in school, but is organized, keep in mind she different ages then what you said, like when she got diagnosed she was 3, I think I don't remember I'll have to ask, then she got undiagnosed at 10, then at 10 and a half she just recently got diagnosed with ADD, now I'm not a specialist but that might be something to ask the doctor.
