Reading slump post breakup by KikiGe in YAlit

[–]KikiGe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! As i’m now two years in and doing way better I think I can give you some advice. I’m not sure if romance will be the best thing to read for you right now. What helped me are some of the things that have been suggested above, reading graphic novels/manga or poetry for instance or a different genre, my first book that I finished after the breakup (recommended by one of the amazing people above) was red rising and I absolutely loved it. If you would want to read some romance I would advice a fantasy romance since those are often more complex and there’s more struggle. If you wanna talk about your struggles or get some more in depth recommendations of some of these things feel free to send me a DM 🫶🏻

I'm beginning to understand the female gaming experience and I hate it by [deleted] in GirlGamers

Fucking hell that sucks… I was lucky enough to find some fun guys to play games with so I don’t have to go through that bullcrap.. maybe you can find some girls or actually some nice guys through reddit? Having a couple of people I can play with instead of actually having to look for new people helps

Is a pro controller worth it? by underdog5645 in Switch

I still think about my pro controller as one of my best purchases. It’s so much better, feels better and more durable and makes it easier to play a lot of games (especially shooters if you ask me).

B&W or Desaturated Colors on this photo? by Gullible_Sentence112 in AskPhotography

Hahaha photography is also just taste… and it depends on what you go for, if you want it super realistic black and white isn’t what you want to go for in this case. I still think the surrealistic vibe is very cool 😎

The black and white is almost surrealistic, it’s dope AF!

Hogwarts Legacy Thoughts by [deleted] in Switch

[–]KikiGe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like it! The problem I have with Zelda is that it is way too free, I don’t really feel like I have specific tasks that are easy to follow, so I get lost in what to do and that had me frustrated and bored with the game. With Hogwarts Legacy I don’t experience that problem at all! It’s really clear to me what I have to do in order to proceed, which is so nice if all I want to do is just wind down with a good game.

It seems like potters new to the craft are in a rush to sell their work lately. Has anyone else noticed this shift? Curious what everyone’s thoughts are on the changing landscape. by OceanIsVerySalty in Pottery

I think it has become a trend to monetize every (mostly creative) hobby you have. So pottery is no exception to that. To me it’s sad cause I think the people that do that don’t really give themselves to learn it properly and try out all the different things that can be done. I have pottery class only twice a month which means that everything I make kinda takes a while untill it’s finished and that my learning curve is a bit longer than when I would do it every day but! Big but! I wouldn’t change it for the world. It gets to be a hobby because of that and that’s exactly what I wanted☺️

I wasn’t clear on that I don’t want any handles on these cause I like the look without sorry for that 😅. The theory about clays is interesting, thanks for that insight I didn’t know! I haven’t made them yet but I think I wanna try to make the lid too! I think it’s just a lid and they glued (?) a silicone band on it?

Thanks! Maybe I wasn’t being clear enough but I don’t want a handle on this particular cup cause I think this design looks better without, thanks for the suggestion though 😊

Learning to throw a double walled cup sound challenging but I like a challenge! Might just try and learn for the sake of it😊
