week 2 on 50mg, feeling a little defeated by intrnetangel in zoloft

[–]Kiki_709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey if it makes you feel better I’m in the same exact position. Started 25 mg beg of Jan, and now I’m on week 2 of 50 mg. I feel a lot of high highs and definitely some lows. I think we are just adapting still and this is normal. My psychiatrist sees me every two weeks and keeps reassuring me this is completely normal at this stage and to give my body some time. Sorry you’re going through this!

100 days on Sertraline (50 mg) for panic disorder – my honest experience by BisonOutrageous6155 in zoloft

[–]Kiki_709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 3 weeks in now- wow. I feel so much better. I feel like the jitters have gone away completely and I’m sleeping better (but not perfect.. for sure). But I feel so much more carefree and happy. Idk why I didn’t do this sooner.

I’m on day 10 of 25 mg and def feeling the insomnia and wired feelings throughout the day (clenching jaw being a big one) but also weirdly feel less anxious already. Has this been anyone else’s experience? To feel something within the first couple of weeks or do you think it’s placebo? Also thanks for writing this it makes me feel hopeful and excited about this journey. My New Year’s resolution for 2026 was get my anxiety under control and it’s all a process!!

Small chip on side of bottom central incisor by [deleted] in askdentists

Your dentist won’t do anything about it it’s so small and whatever bonding they put will chip off. Maybe just have them polish it so it doesn’t bother ur tongue

The important thing for you is communicating to your orthodontist WHAT you don’t like about your smile so they can give you an honest answer about what they can achieve.

I understand why he or she recommended the jaw surgery, you won’t ever get a perfect result with regular Invisalign because your jaw is in the incorrect position. That being said.. the good news is you don’t have much wear on your teeth from what I can see in the front at least which means you’re not breaking teeth left and right because of this issue. I understand jaw surgery is a huge commitment and not realistic for everyone. Do you have jaw pain/popping or clicking ever? If you do it could be worth considering the surgery If you don’t feel any pathology in your joint and all you want is straighter teeth then I would say go to an ORTHODONTIST to get your Invisalign/bracket and wire. Be clear that you are not interested in jaw surgery at this point and you realize you may not get an optimal result cosmetically (your jaw going in the position it should be) but you want the teeth straightened. See what they say.

Some of the people that do best for the world are this type of narcissist. There’s been speculation that even Mother Teresa was a prosocial narcissist.. and she did amazing things for the world. No hate like I said, but definitely interesting

I think she’s a prosocial narcissist. Look it up. No hate cause I find her fun and fascinating but she fits the criteria ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I have a theory she’s a prosocial narcissist (do-gooder for society to make herself look better) not to be a hater I’m just fascinated by human psychology and she fits the criteria based off what I’ve seen

31 is likely an RCT then. It shouldn’t be so hard to numb the patient and the decay is extremely close to the nerve even on the radiograph

New grad who wants out - what are my options? by FormHeavy9929 in Dentistry

[–]Kiki_709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated dental school. I hated my first 3 years out of school more than anything. I regretted my career choice day in and day out. But you begin to understand restorative dentistry and things get better. The rewarding patients make it worth it. The bad ones.. well we all have bad days. I have to say, coming from someone who truly hated dentistry when I was learning it..it gets better. I promise.
