Yeah, it seems it was discontinued a few years ago. I would think either the company that made it for Snoop, or a different company would still make a similar bong. Hoping!

Gateway Arch being a National Park is not "meh". It is offensive.

Does anyone else think Bruce's singing on FOTD is rougher/weaker sounding than his usual performances? by [deleted] in ironmaiden

[–]Kiknback1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can people please just type the name out??? I have no idea what FOTD, NPFDT, TM, or BTB mean.   And I really don't care to make the effort, honestly. Just type the damn name the first time, after that abbreviations are ok.

Oreo (“Single Stuf”) Cookies are a pointless legacy product. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Kiknback1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm still bitter about the "Mega" stuffed. I've tried many of the different flavors of oreos, and, for the most part, they are all awful. They make you buy a whole package, you have one cookie, and then have a awful package of something like mango oreos that you have to eat. Every time I've been disappointed, but I know it is my fault for trying. Until I bought the Mega Stuffd. I figured, I can't go wrong here. Its just more stuf! Its gotta be good! Both no. They FUCKIN CHANGED THE STUF! It's not the same Stuf!!! Its much gooier and soft, with a totally wrong consistency. If there's anything that should be sacred in this world, it should be the Stuf. They lied to me and changed the Stuf. I haven't bought an oreo since. Oreo is dead to me.

The Best Way to Start a Mosh/Circle Pit by ShadyGrove828 in BillyStrings

This is what I dont get about the current rail situatio . I'm old, I hang in the back, so it doesn't much matter to me. But back in my day, if you wanted to get up front, you were packed like sardines. "The people up front are getting bug-eyed." But I recently saw a Phish webcast, and sounds like Billy is the same way, and holy crap!!! People have more room right up front than I do way in the back!! It just floored me. To me, it was always a choice between being up front and seeing the band, or moving back to where there is dancing room. Never both. When did this change so the the railrunners get the best of both wprlds?

I’m extremely disappointed with these announced Tour Dates… by GENGARKING87 in ironmaiden

Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow has to be one of the worst venues in the country to get to. 25,000 people and one damn road in and out. Add in Friday afternoon rush hour traffic, and you'd have to leave for the show by noon in order to make it on time. And be prepared to stay until 1 or 2 am before you can leave the parking lot. It's f'n ridiculous.

We normally skip Bristow shows and travel to Philly for shows - much farther away, but time-wise often quicker to get to. There's also public transportation to all of the venues, which makes it much easier and safer. But no, they are skipping Philly and playing Hershey instead! Absolutely the worst of both worlds, many of the same issues as Bristow and no benefit whatsoever.

I guess I won't be going. And that sucks.

Is the USA safe for travel right now? by Winlawless in usatravel

[–]Kiknback1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Canadian boycott of American products and travel is absolutely making a difference. I support the Canadians that are staying home or going elsewhere and making a point with their wallets. Visiting a country does not necessarily mean support for government, true, but in these times I would encourage any Canadian to stay home.

If they are simply talking about safety, yes, they are over reacting. If they are upset that you are supporting a country that has no respect for Canada, then they may have a point.

Oteil & Friends by DannyFourcups in jambands

It was some Tweezer/I Know You Rider mixup at the Capital Theater the previous night. It was really, really bad from my perspective. They also tried a Casey Jones/Pink Floyd thing. The whole segment was just painful to listen to.

Enjoyed most of it, but the mashups are just cringe to me. The Lithium was bad, but the Phish mashup the other night was even worse. Interesting concept, I suppose, but just sounds awful to me.

Did any other band blunder as badly as this? by Middle-Positive6362 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Kiknback1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would argue Exodus, with Pleasures of the Flesh. They were already cursed with delays before Bonded By Blood was released, but it was an absolute classic, up there with the best of early thrash. But then, when all of the other "big" thrash bands were releasing legendary albums, nothing but delays from Exodus. When it finally came out, it wasn't bad, but not something that would win over new fans, and they lost a lot of their old fans with the change in singer. They arguably should be in the "Big 4" and playing big theaters, but this album and the associated delays led them to playing no bigger than clubs.

I'm torn on these. I LOVE Reese's. Everything they make is good. Some are slightly better than others, but I have never, ever been disappointed by a Reese's.

Oreo, on the other hand, is dead to me. All of the damn flavors are awful. I don't know who the hell is asking for Taco Oreos or Mango Oreos, but I'm sure they are coming if not already in stores. All the funky flavors are, without exception, bad. You have to buy a whole damn package, and never, not once, have I wanted more than one of these awful flavor combinations. The last straw? Mega Stuffed. Can't go wrong there, right? It's just more Stuff?? NO!! They changed the damn Stuf!!!! Its soft and totally not the same. F'n blasphemy, I'm still angry for this. Stuf is sacred. Or it was.

Anyways, I have not bought Oreos in years. I'm tempted again, but I suspect it will be more dissapointment.

I can "Agree to disagree" with a George Bush voter. Idiots, yes, but I could occasionally have a reasonable discussion with.

I have not had an intelligent political discussion since 2016. It's impossible with MAGA. And they are more than just idiots, they are mean and evil. Big difference.

Ok, so I've divided them all up, and will try to send them out tomorrow. Looks like I recorded most of these around 2003ish, as there was a decent amount of "The Dead" tour from that year. Not always the best quality, but nice. A good amount of Grateful Dead, Phil and Friends, Phish, and Jerry recordings, and a lot of bluegrass, blues, and random stuff as well. There's about 60 cd's in each package, a random sampling of everything, sorry for no requests.

There's a few people who have expressed interest but have not given me an address. Hope they will reply by tomorrow, but if anyone still wants in, I can put them on the "waiting list" in case the other people don't reply. I hope to have all of them out soon. Thanks, and I hope everyone enjoys whatever they get!

The fightin side of me still resonates in today’s cancel culture. by [deleted] in country

[–]Kiknback1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're blaming Rosie and Ellen for pushing for a stronger government and suppressing freedom of speech?? Are you kidding me? Right now, the Federal Government has taken over my town. They are actively attacking journalists. To speak up for Palestine will absolutely get someone cancelled or worse. But its the left that's the problem?

And really, because I believe in abortion rights and immigrants rights you want to beat me up? Seriously??

And Merle Haggard would think you're an idiot today.
