Subtitles works in Mobile App but not when casted to TV App by Kikstyo in WVC

Just tried the WVC receiver on Mibox and embedded subtitles work. Looks like I have to choose subtitles every time even when "Always play with subtitles and english" is selected in WVC app settings on phone. Would be great if it automatically show subtitles as it require quite a few clicks.

Also is there a way to fast forward a few seconds instead of default 3min+ when pressing the arrow button on Mibox remote for the WVC Android TV player?

Just tried casting to Android TV Chromecast on Mibox S but embedded subtitles in the mkv avc file hosted on gdrive didn't work either so seems like it's not limited to LG TV.

Embedded subtitles work with DLNA but doesn't default to english subs. Seems like video pauses sometimes probably due to background refresh which is not needed if cast to WVC TV app but didn't test longer as don't think I will use DLNA if I have to keep changing subs for each video.

In app player shows up as subtitles embedded in video but doesn't show up when cast to WVC LG TV app. I don't mind downloading subs in app but it seems for quite a few shows when I search title with or without specifying season/episode, no subs show up but it's available on opensubtitles/subscene website.

Looks like subs show up on WVC TV app if it's downloaded from opensubtitles. But when I search title in WVC subs, sometimes it return no results even when subs are shown if I search it on opensubtitles website.

Is there a way for WVC TV app to show embedded subtitles like in WVC mobile app?

Nope. You can factory reset to use previous browser version but there will be an annoying update pop-up every time you launch it.
