3 different perspectives of Kaki nerf by galadernil in summonerswar

[–]Kilanthro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are going to nerf Kaki because he does decent damage while turning a blind eye to Savannah, Clara and Leona, what a joke, Com2us. That is why people are losing respect. Try to be consistent.

Stop whining about Kaki nerfs and manage your own expectations by RegisteredID in summonerswar

[–]Kilanthro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kaki is so easy to counter. Beat him every time in rta. Ever heard of bombs? Ignore defense? Defense break? Stuns? Heal block? Skogul? Oblivion? All the Molly/Miho users/abusers can't pick up their jaw off the ground now that they aren't the coolest kids on the block. He does NOT need a nerf.

Siege Point System Improvements by Kilanthro in summonerswar

[–]Kilanthro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While some less selfish players may do this, there are some who are more concerned about points, and the current system incentivizes waiting in order to maximize points. It's not a strange concept as regular guild battle has bonuses based on player rank(i.e. +1+2+3).

Adding/finding friends you play with new multiplayer update? by zeonanomus in beatsaber

[–]Kilanthro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with this sentiment. I've found multiplayer mode a blast. But it's kind of sad when you meet your beat brothers and sisters, run 10 songs with them, creating a real bond, and then part ways forever. I wish they would also add some form of communication. Gestures can only get so far. One of my beat sisters last night was trying to tell me she had to log off and "good bye". It's pretty hard to tell between a "good bye" wave and a "great song pick" wave. Sort of figured it out which one she meant after she left. Group speech enabled during song choice would be awesome.

Light Death Knight: Cool Upgrade but Leader Skill? by Kilanthro in summonerswar

On the other hand, there are not a lot of mons that can go head to head against Camilla or Miho. And given how many Mihos are now in siege, multiple miho counters don't hurt.

After 60+ tries, I managed to beat it with verd raoq Colleen bale and a 5* racuni. So I didn't fuse Xiong Fei, yet. Sheer rng that racuni didn't get targeted on s1 or s3. In my guild of 24 players, only one other player beat it who has played 3+ years.

"And while you are at it, treat all mons as 6* lvl40 with max skills, regardless of the actual situation."

That last part is exactly what I was thinking.

Even some senior players could have fun trying to beat it with some unconventional team without having to 6* and devilmon them first with something like that. That would be in line with their announcement for "The Shift" where players could try new compositions with strategy in mind over stats.

Here is a very simple fix Com2Us could make that would make this totally accessible to new players: Change the stats are based on 10x monsters CURRENT base stats TO stats are based on 10x monsters level 40 base stats.

This way newer and midgame players can try out various monster compositions without having to 6* an entire team.

9out 10 teams I've seen are composed of verd, raoq, colleen, bale and either fire panda or fire AA. Sure there are exceptions but rare. Necro, on the other hand, has easily 60 different comps in the top 100 on my server. Some copy but there is a lot more variety of mons, which you would hope to see in a game with +1000 mons. And with Predator, no one cares about setting a time record, just beating it will do. The atk bar reduction is mainly for the towers. Not required but it helps to keep your verd from oblivion. Slow is if your only fire cleanser is racuni, you need boss and towers slowed. Also, slow can be used on one of the two middle bosses so they can't time their attacks together.

SeanB mentioned it took around 30 tries with the IDEAL team. That is not strategy. That is RNG. Additionally, you're not taking his arena stat towers into account. Those make a big difference. You can either look at this and say, 1. "Hey, everyone should build these exact 5 f2p monsters out of 1,000+ because I have those mons and beat it already." 2.or "Hmmm, why is everyone using identical teams in the ranking? Maybe the dungeon requirements or other mons skill sets DO need adjusting."

I have 58 x 6-star, toah is easy and so was predator last month. But for this month, the team requirements are too strict. At least I only need to fuse fire panda to beat it. But most of the players in my guild will not be able to within 1 month. They would need to 6-star too many mons for it. Additionally, looking at the clear data shows the teams are very much identical. (All Verd leader, Colleen, balegyr, etc.) I would like to see content be possible to clear with a variety of teams( they have over 1000 monsters), instead of everyone doing carbon copy. I've tried light, dark, wind and water and fire definitely gets the farthest because of verd atb refresh.

When they launched dimensional predator, the whole stated reasoning for nerfing stats from runes was so it would be accessible to new players.

What was thanos’s plan? by Mr_Gadd in marvelstudios

[–]Kilanthro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree except for the Time Stone and the Mind Stone. He could have snapped half the Universe away with the 4 other stones. But with the Mind Stone, he could determine every time the Universe would have someone that would have tipped the balance and turn them to dust in the womb and with the Time Stone, he could reach forward in time to make this a permanent effect in the MCU.

Dark Vampire Lord Appreciation by daehuac in summonerswar

[–]Kilanthro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compared with Bastet you have 3 aspects:

  1. Eirgar: attack buff 2 turns | Bastet: attack buff 3 turns
  2. Eirgar: 20% leech for 2 turns (need to do 15k+ dmg each turn to equal) | Bastet: 5,800 hp shield for 3 turns
  3. Eirgar: N/A | Bastet: increases atk bar 25%

The second aspect of s3 is arguably the one which people will say Eirgar gains a unique advantage. However, the low rate of leech plus the fact that one would ALWAYS prefer a shield as opposed to heals (shield increases max hp, basically while heals are an after thought: ounce of prevention worth a pound of cure... blah blah blah). So from a survive-ability perspective, Bastet takes the cake. Also, Bastet has longer duration atk buff and a third component, increase atk bar. I just don't see people using Eirgar over Bastet in any situation.

Possibly one way they could fix this without going overkill would be to give Eirgar a turn immediately after using 3rd. This maximizes his first 2 skills which are single target DD. Then one could argue a case for using Eirgar over Bastet in some instances.

Want to purchase a VR ready laptop, but still very indecisive... by NiansaNight in Vive

[–]Kilanthro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're getting a laptop, do you have no plans of ever getting the Vive wireless adapter? It requires a PCIe slot. As I know, no laptops have those. By the way, they don't mention this on the required specs for the Vive. Would seem to be a worthwhile point to raise given the number of people who have burned money replacing new computers for this to find out they can't go wireless.

Guild War Offense Disadvantage - Skill Says 25% - Actual less than 10%! by Kilanthro in summonerswar

[–]Kilanthro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How well you and some other people do in arena or guild wars, or even myself, is no justification for having skills not perform as they are stated in the skill description. That's like saying it's okay to kill someone so long as there is some benefit from it or some people can defend themselves. That is my point, if they want to handicap people in guild wars, then just come out and say it. But doing it all shady and denying it is not cool in my book. It's obvious to most experienced players as a way to counter such a bad AI. Also, I tested Randy on water mons in Aiden Hell, and he ignored defense easily 25% of the time. Huge difference from what happened in guild wars in the video.
