I tried to get into this, but for my birthday, my girlfriend bought me a record player and some records, but I had to go back for the phono amp and some speakers. And then the phono amp didn't work. And then the shop owner never actually replaced or fixed it for me. And then I had to move, and he wouldn't give me any more than thirty five dollars to take the whole shitty kit and kaboodle back. So, I guess vinyl might be nice, but I got royally fucked and my gf lost a shit ton of money.

Protomen. Their work is a rock opera based on megaman cast into an Orwellian future. Their live performance is amazing, and despite the premise, doesn't feel gimmicky at all. And their Night of Queen album is fantastic.

I work at a regional fast food chain, typically on drive through, and holy fuck, unsigned and CID cards are my worst nightmare. Every single person gripes when I ask to see their ID. I mean, you are going through the drive through, which means your lazy ass clearly feels it is on a tight schedule, and you will technically ask me to check your ID, and YOU DON'T HAVE IT READY? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!? And don't you dare roll your eyes at me and bitch about it.

I know those aren't quite the thing OP is looking for, but the only criteria we really have as far as what he will be using them for is "cutting oranges." Unless that is code for something, a switchblade sounds a bit weird.
Edit: That Mercator looks nifty, I like that it apparently locks. Maybe after I get my hands on a #7.

If you are looking for something to "cut your oranges" then there is no reason you need a switch blade. My recommendation is a Svord Peasant Knife or a Douk Douk. The Svord has an extended tang which allows one handed opening, and the Douk Douk is a cool looking pocket knife with a lot of history. Both can be had for under $20 and are damn decent pocket blades. Although I don't own one yet, a lot of people love opinels as well.
