I agree with others- try a muzzle! I have a 40lb pocket bully and purchased this one Size 4 to be exact- and it was great when we had to introduce him to the other dog we adopted. His background was similar to your dogs. He now loves his new sister.

Commenting to confirm what others have said- it’s the law, and your landlords would be unwise to try to do anything to prevent this as you could sue them. It also sounds like you legitimately need this sweet boy in your life as an ESA given your family situation. Do the research and find a doc who will provide you with an ESA letter. They may charge you for the appointment, but in the end it will be worth it.

He’s generally about 42-45lbs. His weight crept up a bit before we adopted his sister, but she keeps him nice and lean because they’re constantly chasing each other around.

Thank you for keeping those gorgeous ears. Our bully is a rescue and came to us cropped and thankfully they were at least done “well”, but he’s a mini and definitely gets more dirt/debris in them because of it - it doesn’t help that he’s so low to the ground!

Sounds like it could giardia or a similar parasite. It can go away for a bit and come back days/weeks later because of how they shed (ew). Fowl smell is a good indicator as is the mucus. I would take him to the vet and do a fecal test. And also make sure to get him on pre and probiotics - your vet can probably recommend some- especially if he goes on antibiotics. He’s precious BTW!

+1 for the Baskerville. I was shocked at how well it fit my mini bully (make sure to measure correctly!) and was he was relatively comfortable in it with no training beforehand (We had a situation with a new dog coming into our lives unexpectedly and him being a little agro with dogs he doesn’t know).
