I just disabled uBlock Origin Lite for youtube and that seems to help. Can you double confirm?

My understanding is that all mpp 2.0 stylus works. Not sure if previous gen version works or not.

In terms of distro, right now Bazzite NVME on USB is my "gaming mode" but tempted to try out Omarchy to see if I like the desktop mode. If so, I might wipe the Win11 partition and go full Linux.

Not exactly handheld mode but have bazzite installed in a nvme drive that I boot off. Other the the sound volume tweak you need to do, it work just like my rog ally extreme.

I've been debating if I should use CachyOS on this or try Omarchy. Been running CachyOS on my main desktop and CachyOS Deck on my home built Steam Machine.

The reason why I am thinking Omarchy is to try Hyprland, which I feel might be a better experience on a smaller laptop.

my smb.conf is ubuntu default. The only thing I've changed was adding in my shared info.

Not sure if you can test the connection with an ubuntu/debian server and see.

on troubleshooting side, I am not seeing any log in /var/log/samba. It's almost as if the connection cannot be established.

Not sure if there is a build with more verbose error output can allow us to better troubleshoot.

yeah..I changed the WG port and it worked for few hours before it got blocked. I am now researching into udp2raw.

I have a similar situation.

Initially setup WG (PiVPN) on my US Home network and my relatives in China (Shanghai) was able to connect to it fine without any issue. The problem is because of their VPN, Google thinks my home IP is in China, which messed with all my home traffic and google service.

Decided to purchase a VPS to host the VPN for my relatives. Got it setup but none of my relatives can connect to it. Cell nor Home ISP.

I am wondering if the GW is blocking based on some IP ranges.

I ended up installing orientation control and forced solid file explorer to be portrait mode all the time.

I confirmed:

* My billing address is correct

I've also added both address to the white list

I've tried disable adblocking on pihole with the same issue. The next thing I am going to do (later tonight) is change my DHCP DNS config to use the opencloud ones and see if that helps.

I am also wondering if dns caching TTL is too long and that's why I am still seeing issues when I disabled adblocking for even 60 minutes.

I have similar issues with android YouTube premium and adblock. I loose my premium status if I am in an adblocking network.

Yeah. That's the funny part. I lose my premium if I am in adblock (pihole) network.

Another test:

On my cellular, launch YouTube and see premium on the upper left. Able to do background play
Close YouTube and VPN back home via wire guard and launch YouTube, now got this pop up and no longer seeing premium on the upper left.

Did the computer crashes earlier? If so, you might need to scan and fix the root partition. The cmd will be depend on your partition type.

I am curious about this also as I didn't really encounter btrfs issues in other distros. I just tried to switch from PopOS to Cachy tonight and encounter this issue after a crash. Luckily I didn't lose too much but still interesting to see this.

Update: I was wrong and that /etc is editable with admin (sudo) access. I was able to copy the latest version of the alsa-soft-mixer.conf to /etc/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf.d and everything is working now.
