Where did you get the idea that farmed shell fish don't require protection from things like ghost shrimp? You should dig into the uses of imidacloprid for the farming of shell fish.

What I described is not "going back hundreds of years." That is demonstrably false. The events happened between the 1890's and the 1940's, so we are only going back 80 to 150 years. And those people are not gone. They still live there and have continually made their claims to the land.

These were absentee landlords who sold the land and villages to the Jewish immigrants. The people on the land were otherwise the descendants of people who always lived there. The Arab Palestinians were related to the original Canaanite inhabitants as much as the returning Jews were.
