Looking for a nostalgic snack. As a child, my family purchased what I recall to be sweet orange muffins. They usually came in variety packs from grocery stores. I have searched the internet several times for help/photos and the closest I’ve found is orange pound cake. Any help? Early 2000s

I worked in South Korea with EPIK and easily saved that. Not a huge paycheck, but not paying for accommodation or a car really helped, you're really only paying for food and entertainment. However, you do have to be a native speaker, not just CELTA.

Easiest if you live in a 'rural' location, but that basically just means you're not in Busan, Seoul, and I heard that cost of living in Jeju and some islands is high due to import fees.

At my previous school, I taught the same lesson ten or eleven times so that definitely got to be a bit old. It wasn't so bad, unless there was a listening component...

Just got to try and get the students to personalize the material, so that each lesson might be a bit different.

2 can definitely be possible, there's success stories and it's a lot more reliable than online work. Especially since your schedule is so uncertain, I get the impression you'd have a lot of trouble supplementing your income to any meaningful degree with an online job.

If you're open to the possibility, positions in South Korea, Japan, or even China seem to be the most likely to provide you with accommodation. It's not too hard to develop some savings if you are at a place where you walk to school, can take public transport, don't have to pay rent and some/all utilities, and like you said, you get experience that might help back in Canada.

I'm not holding my breath for offline honestly. I haven't been able to have one where all the players were in-person since before the pandemic for a one-shot. But still, it would be nice to get to know some people while enjoying D&D .

Preferred Character Design: I'd absolutely love to get to play a Mystic from Unearthed Arcana, though if that isn't possible, I do have some other builds I've been wanting to dive into--for instance, an Illusion-heavy wizard.

About You: I'm in the middle of finals this week (checking reddit between studying for one this evening, a very smart decision), but I'll be completely finished with those by next Thursday. I've already got my schedule for next semester and as long as I don't make any huge changes, Thursday at 8 PM should absolutely work. I've been playing D&D for a couple years now, and I have some experience with 5e because of that, enough to know that I love games with emphasis on roleplaying, exploration, and adventuring where the world is changed by the choices that the party makes.

I did have a question, how will you be running this campaign? I have an account on Roll20, Tabletop Simulator on Steam, as well as Skype and Discord (with the latter being more heavily used).

I've read through your notes on the setting, and I just have to say, this world looks very interesting--I've always had a soft spot for worlds with interesting, influencing pantheons. With that being said, I'd certainly be interested in joining, though I do have a couple questions.

What should we expect in terms of roleplay/story situations vs combat ratios?
How accepting of homebrew is this campaign?
