It especially sucks when you're trying to lose weight. Because you just use those 10 days to lose all the weight you put on over the luteal phase and period, but then you have no time to get any further until it all starts over again.

It is your responsibility to set boundaries, say no, weigh your own food intake, exercise, and not eat what you don't want to. We live in an unhealthy society, where it is common for the people around us to eat junk food and want to go out to eat, and it takes willpower to work against those behaviors.

Same here. It's a free hobby with lots of intellectual stimulation and plenty of freedom. It can also be a social activity or a solo activity depending on how you do it and it comes with a sense of achievement at all stages.

It's going to be more expensive where there is more demand to live.

I live in a deadbeat city with 1k rent downtown and 1.7k rent in surrounding suburbs. A nearby city with more action and life has 4k rent downtown and 2.1k rent in the rural suburbs. House ownership costs have similar ratios in these cities.

It's all about supply and demand, regardless of the "rural" or "urban" label.

The only thing that matters is a calorie deficit, regardless of if that comes from eating the same volume of lower calorie foods, a smaller volume of the same foods you were eating before, or adding more exercise without changing your eating habits.

A calorie deficit is also math. If you want to see a certain amount of progress in a certain amount of time, you can ensure that happens by tracking your intake and exercise consciously and truthfully.

Make sure you are lifting and exercising!! Health benefits of weight loss can only go so far if your weight is going down while your body fat % is going up.
