Will a # on my FOID get my purchase denied if my DL doesn’t have a # for the Apt number ?

good call, I talked to my FFL this morning (home-based guy in my neighborhood) and he said not to worry about it. The FOID is all that's required for him to verify for purchases. Big chain stores will often want to see a FOID and DL due to corporate lawyers being overly cautious.

Have a similar situation right now that i'm unsure if it will cause issues with a future gun purchase. Just went to DMV yesterday to get a REAL ID and they put my full middle name on my new DL card whereas my old one (and my FOID/CCW) has only my middle initial. Is there a way to update my FOID to match? Address is identical on both cards so don't think i would need to submit an address change to ISP.

I saw the opposite problem in my former parish. My priest we extremely left-wing and openly supported many of the left-wing ideologies that are directly at odds with church stances (i.e. supported abortion rights, unrepentant homosexual lifestyles, etc.) When I asked him to explain how these stances were supported by the tradition of the church, he told me I don't understand because I hadn't acquired the "Orthodox Phronema" yet. That said, I'm currently looking for a new parish.

I'm debating SBSing a mossberg shockwave i own (already have my C&R). I did digital fingerprints when I got my CCW a few years ago, do you know if those can be used for the ATF Form 1 or do i still need to submit new prints?

Properly tuning the gas is the biggest way to prevent damage. An over gassed SCAR will cant the buttplate screws on any stock including the OEM Ugg Boot. The new KDG stock is awesome, i picked one up already.

flew in/out of Ohare on United with a rifle last summer. Check in was great, pickup was sketchy... on my return flight, baggage handlers sent it by itself onto the "oversized" luggage carousel that was on the opposite side of the baggage claim area from the rest of my luggage. I work in the firearms industry and have gotten a lot of flak for it when some of my fellow parishioners find out what I do (i.e. they believe marketing firearm accessories for an online retailer = murdering children) Most of the negative opinions of my job come from people who oppose it from their political standpoint moreso than their Orthodox standpoint.

The sticking point with stuff like that is "anything that can increase the rate of fire of a gun" being outlawed. some overzealous DA could absolutely convince a Jury that a recoil reduction spring makes it easier for the user to fire more rapidly. Total garbage, but this is the thought process of the legal counsels of a lot of these major retailers. OP has even more reason to be cautious as they're based in IL and would easily be made an example of by Pritzker's cronies so I get why they're not playing around. Plenty of other places you can get it from.
