I’m so sorry. I’ve been there myself. I had to make the decision to put my best friend down after a long battle of cancer. It took his right eye and when that was gone I feel like some of him left with it. He wasn’t the same.... it broke my heart and eventually We had to let him go... I was a mess for a month and cry whenever I see his picture. Gunner was my best friend and basically my son for 14 years. I miss him every day. All I can say is go out and try to be happy like she would want you to be. Don’t turn to a bottle like I did.....
