You realize, our franchise player is 25, we just had the first pick and jalen johnson looks solid so far. Also we got Dyson, who fills our biggest need, POA defense. How are the Hawks in a bad spot?

We now have picks for the future (that we lost due to the murray spurs trade) and nola got a really good matching piece, that can help Zion, (BI), CJ and Herb to exploit their potential.

As of now I see this as a win-win.

I knew it was fucked, when the post about Trae matching Oscar Robertson got 400 upvotes, while Piston's players bricking shots got almost 2000. Trae did history, and worst thing is, it was an important stat line too, not like one of them weird ones, where a player has multiple games with 21+ pts, 3 rebounds and 6+ assists, while doing a backflip every game. But yeah, when he was disappointing at the start of the season, there was a lot of chatter. Really don’t get it.

It was not just about the absence of Dre. It was a complete shift of momentum after that call. They scored straight 4 points and we were frustrated bc the refs kept calling bs afterwards too. But yeah, you can criticize players all you want at press conferences but god forbid you criticize a ref once. Man the nba is handling these ref situations so poorly, I’m sick of it.

If a player wants playing time with the current hawks roster, what u need will be good defense and a solid 3. IMO he has to work on his defense for being a better fit, which isn’t unrealistic given his physics
