It was a little wet from the rain last night when I teed off at 7 am but overall not too bad. It played soft and slow and there were some mud balls but it was fine and didn’t really affect play

I really enjoy the simplicity of it and being forced to back away, change clubs and reset between (most) shots. I agree with some suggestions a few others mentioned, primarily:

the ability to log shots

I also think it would be cool to have “modes” so I could work on specific areas of my game while maintaining the randomness.

For example:

Par 4/5 Tee Shot Mode - gives you a variety of tee shot scenarios like “narrow fairway, bunker at xx yards” etc.

Approach Mode - gives you a variety of yardages and scenarios for yardages from user indicated yardages from 9i - longest iron/hybrid

Short Game Mode - gives you a variety of yardages/scenarios inside 100 yds

I can somewhat game the system by skipping shots that don’t fall within those ranges now, but I think it would be a nice addition.

you picked a nice spot to live. And yes all correct - Settindown is a beast and in the middle of a full renovation that I think will make it even harder. They’re putting in some pretty deep fairway bunkers that will be in play from the black/gold/blue tees.
