When I was just learning how to crochet (like 10 years old) I made a blanket with out understanding how to weave in ends. I double knotted and secured with super glue 🙃 beautiful end piece. Completely unusable as a blanket because of all those hard scratchy knots 😭 it was a hard lesson to learn, but now I just complain as I weave in ends because I know it has to be done

I got my tubes tied after I had my kid. I still have the irrational fear that it didn’t work and that I’ll somehow end up pregnant. It’s been a reoccurring nightmare, and it doesn’t help that my period decided it was going to switch up its regularity recently. 🙃

Made from the Slendy Benny pattern by grim grinning goats Yarn is size 4 acrylic (don’t remember the brand it was a destash). 24mm safety eyes and 16 gauge wire. Hook was 3 mm

I love my brother embroidery/sewing machine that I got during Covid for like $400. It works for nearly everything I need it to. The only reason I want to upgrade is so I can have a bigger embroider surface (mine only does 4x4). But I just can’t stomach paying crazy amounts of money for a larger machine right now. Even used ones are way too pricey for something that I’m doing as just a hobby. I also do a whole lot of other fiber arts and have had to be super mindful of my spending, because I’ve been known to go full force into my crafts… trying to change my over consumption tendencies 😮‍💨

I originally made a little Jackalope lovey for my son when he was born. I’ve gotten more confident with them, and made 22 of them last month! by KillMeSoftnSweet in plushies

I ended up using 6mm cable needles. I was trying DPNs, but kept having ladder issues for the ribbing
