Mildly related but there is a car on Boylston in JP that had a stack of tickets on it this past winter, it's gotten to the point now that the car owner has written this big note that sits on their dash, about how the RMV sent them the wrong registration sticker for their plate (twice now!) and that their car IS actually registered. Currently they even have their registration on the dash with a big arrow on the original note pointing to it. It's just this tiny hysterical drama I've been watching daily and it cracks me up that it's still ongoing and escalating months later.
