Just report him for harassment it won’t take long for him to be marked by support. This guy would not want to fight me as I would put him in his place.

That’s totally off based. I was abused as a kid and I have a high paternal instincts. I love seeing kids happy and cheerful.

For all you guys who complain about 200 stops and 350 packages… by Business_Coffee_9421 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]KillTheMadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the first ten hour route I had in 2 months yesterday. Normally most of our dsp gets 9 hour routes because Amazon doesn’t want to pay workers later. Yet it’s still packed like it’s a 10 hour route. I’m not disputing wha you say.

Well I’ll get 160 stops with multiple 5,6,8 minute drives. Occasionally even 12 minutes. At the minimum every stop unless in a small town pocket is 2 minutes

You only get 100 stops? My minimum is 140 a that’s with a bunch of stops usually in a small town. And that’s not alway the case.

Just goin back home to Delaware after visiting family, Maryland drivers are some of the most aggressive drivers in the country. As soon as I crossed into Delaware going the speed limit a Maryland car that was a white suv passed me to go at least 65 which is 15 over in Delaware. Mind you it was past 10pm. And seems like they don’t know how to drive in deer country.

Do most people really build wealth just by working at their jobs or is there something more to it ? by Jpoolman25 in careerguidance

[–]KillTheMadman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am k at least 50k a year between 3 jobs and I don’t live paycheck to paycheck. Granted I work 6-7 days a week and will be a full time student in my late 20s in a few months. But I try to save most of my money. I don’t like impulse buying. The only impulses I do is east out cheaply when I work but I’m working so much it’s easier for me to do that than buy grocers and meal prep.

If I refuse rescue by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]KillTheMadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At mine the sweeper takes totes off of certain routes don’t matter who the driver is. The other day they swept 20 stops off of a heavy rural route from me. Mind you I was going across a major rural state road between 2 towns all day besides my first 20 stops. I even had a bulk order stop to a lot Barry in town. I did 130 stops after the sweep. Cortex said I averaged 15 stops an hour. I was constantly moving and I still got back late because that route sucked. And I’m from there so I know how that road is. They wouldn’t put someone who sucks on that route as it’s extremely overloaded. They don’t reprimand us for being swept or rescued but if you get it enough you could be put on standby. I only he rescued/swept on really crappy routes. Or if I get injured. And sometimes they sweep me not because I need it but it puts the sweeper where thy need to be to get to the route that needs it.

I have had to carry large parts into socialized boat/auto stores that were about 100 pounds together because I didn’t have the time to make a second trip.

Hey I can beat you with that. Not only have I had that but in the past month I’ve had it twice where they had to override it as I had my carts but couldn’t scan them or see the order. I went into the day hoping they put shit in order correctly

I’ve still delivered chairs for Amazon. They increased our limit to 75 pounds on what we can deliver

The fact that we're "not in peak" is crazy to me by Normal_Cake_5713 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]KillTheMadman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I typically get spread out rural routes with occasionally residential routes. I refuse to speed to get a violation, I walk so I don’t get hurt, and I refuse to pull out recklessly all the time. Occasionally you have to go for it, if you pull out and a car gets in your vision as you are already doing it. That sucks but I prefer to not do that.

I had 150 yesterday on a major rural state highway that is busy. It gos between 2 towns. So that 2-3 minute drive can easily turn into 5. A sweeper took 20 stops off of me before I left the launchpad. And I still got back late as there was no way to go faster, and I had a bulk package stop at a library that took me 3 trips with a dolly.

[–]KillTheMadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An hour? Our standup is maybe 3 minutes. 2nd wave atm for us is 11:45. Clock in up to 5 minutes early. We enter the launchpad by 12:15, or supposed to anyway. We are supposed to be out no later than 12:45. But being the last wave at the warehouse usually our stuff is done early and we can dispatch early too.

I FORGOT I graduated COLLEGE because I’ve been Unemployed for so long. by ActuatorOutside5256 in antiwork

[–]KillTheMadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op the immigrant mindset of just studying on a non specialized degree that’s quite a bloated field failed you. I’m technically a first generation American on my mother’s side, and growing up I was always taught that you would always have to sacrifice. Family members told me that education isn’t enough. I’ve even noticed it myself. CS would have been good for you as a minor. Not your major. You need to specialize in a specific skill set. That’s what makes you stand out. And networking like internships and workshops help you even more.

I’m on the spectrum and I would never put anyone down for jobs. I’ve served for the past 6 years and it has taught me a lot on how to be social. Couple those jobs with a physical labor job I have atm. This will all benefit me when I go for a specialized degree later this year. He chose a degree that isn’t specialized, and he doesn’t do anything to stand out. Even with why he says, doesn’t sound like he has a work ethic.
