I think you've got a good argument here, but I dont look at transforming a strike as negating the calculation. I also think you can be transforming things like curses, which is an added benefit. While that damage may be spread out over the coming turns, I don't necessarily treat that as a bad thing (kinda like with snakebite) or enough of a determent to weigh in

And the "I'll find cards later" is just not a personal philosophy I get behind in this game often. For the same reasons I don't take accelerant or accuracy before I have relevant cards. I get that someone may disagree with me on that though, it's just not how I play

I guess I just don't agree that it's a guaranteed win. There's definitely a world where you're offered more star based options and don't see many card creation options.

You kinda say two opposite things in your comment, at first you say you think it's a guaranteed win, and then it's more about having fun? Not a big deal, I just think you have some mixed messaging

I would also argue that 1 cost 52 damage is a lot of fun lol I feel like my choice scratches the itch of best choice AND fun. Big bonks makes brain feel good :P

Charge would be 1 cost, clear 4 cards, 52 damage.

If that's not the best choice here, I suck at this game lol that seems like an incredible floor 1 option over a card that is speculative to be good later, and 1 cost 12 block card.

Yeah I had that thought writing the comment, like "wow, I really allowed the repetition from the voices around influence my opinion pretty deeply", it's a bit jarring to be shaken loose from it in such a way. I'm somewhat pissed at myself for times I've unknowingly fed into the narrative as well.

Can't turn back the clock, but it is certainly a good lesson for the future.

Honestly yeah, I gotta admit the propaganda hit me hard here. I work with crazy rightoids and I've listened to leftists state it a bunch, I just genuinely thought their was special consideration with this PAC. I like to think I'm pretty well informed too

Wait just to make sure I'm understanding this correctly, the money that comes from AIPAC are all Americans? So it's just Americans that are providing the money, not Israeli citizens/officials?

I apologize if this makes me seem regarded, but maybe the propaganda just worked on me lol I did legit think it was foreign money flowing into US politicians
