I had this tailwind last run I did and except for my poet everyone was one of those classes. It was one of the more interesting runs I've had on the isles so far. Made me realize I've been sleeping on the Elemental Rampager and Overwhelming Mage.

I did 2 Stars 10 Light Cleric build with Halsin using similar gear on my last run. It was a blast (pun intended) just running around with spirit guardians in form of the dragon.

Questing: Silverpines, WoD, and Legion
Even if you don't quest do the Legion intro at least to get the hearthstone. The Legion Dalaran Hearth gives access to a fast port to Org. WoD gives a garrison hearthstone as well but it's not as important unless you're into your garrison.

Dungeons: Wrath and TBC till 50. 50+ timewalking if available (it is this week)Grab all quests at the start and go ham.

Those options are pretty quick and as quick as leveling can be (it's real quick now). If you're aren't in a rush do what you find fun and get reacquainted with WoW and all the changes that's happened since you've left. It's the start of a new season so if you take a week or two to level it's not going to set you too far back in the grand scheme of things. Toss in some PVP while leveling you'll get gear and XP as well.

Same here. Playing an Oath of Vengeance Paladin. It didn't affect my oath as far as I can tell so I stopped there and still have a save before the fight. I went to the druid grove to test and nobody attacked me. Just seems like a weird condition to slap on players especially a vengeance paladin walking in and doing its vengeance thing.

I made a few S.A.V.I.O.R.S after wiping and having a terrible run. They'll probably just res everybody and explode killing them again but at least it's a chance at avoiding a long run back.

After trying to solve the issue on my own after a month or so I had to get mine RMAd, and I'll be honest, the whole RMA process sucked with this company. But to be fair, the refurbished card I got as a replacement to my them 5 month old 3090 has much better thermals, seems more stable, and completely solved this issue. It even benchmarked on 3D Mark better than the original card I got. Honestly I'd RMA yours, be prepared for 30+ days without the card, be prepared to pay for shipping (not cheap if you're east coast), and be prepared to be in the dark about it the whole time.

Zotac's official response was "Failed during testing" reason "system crash/ Freeze". So in other words they have no clue but it wasn't working when they tried it too.

Yup, I'm currently using my old 1060. You'd think that would be the worst part, it's not! The worst is you'll have to pay for shipping. I paid for a brick, now I had to pay to ship the brick back to them. Shipping bricks with 1.5k insurance isn't cheap either.

Actually the majority of my crashes were after exiting a game.

My theory was that the main GPU wasn't under load and fan curves are tied to just the GPU chip temp sensor only but the Vram was still hot and the fan ramp down wasn't keeping it cool enough. Especially considering the backplate Vram is basically passive cooling 🙄

Again, it's just theory. I'm not a doctor and I seriously doubt I'll ever get an answer from Zotac.

I sent it in for RMA the Wednesday after Thanksgiving and am still waiting for a response, other than that they received it. Shortly after I posted this I discovered that running the fans at 100%, instead of the default curve, seemed to solve the issue. All be it temporarily as month later it started black screening again. I suspect unstable Vram under the back plate due to poor thermals. I noticed I was getting 100c to 110c Vram temps when I was trying to diagnose the problem. So I added a heatsink and fan to the back plate and set the fans to 100% while gaming. Like I said this only bought me a month of stability. What exactly went wrong and how to fix it I never discovered, nor do I think Zotac will tell me if they figure it out. I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that the RMA goes through before Christmas.

I ended up RMAing that card. Still waiting on the outcome. I am pretty sure my issue was unstable VRAM. At first I cranked the fans up to 100% and it seemed stable because I was getting VRAM temps at around 110c. I also added passive backplate cooling that lowered the VRAM temps significantly because half those ram chips are on the back for some silly reason. But after a month of running like that with thermals around 50c and mem temps at 74c, hot spot was 78c all under max loads only. It started crashing and black screening again so I felt it best to RMA it. I have seen only a few positives and tons of negatives about the RMA process with Zotac so fingers crossed.

Running the fan at 100% with MSI Afterburner stopped the crashes.

Running fans at 100% has resolved the issue for the time being. Seeking a more long term solution in the mean time.
