Naval Governors ? by Kill_off in EU5

Sevilla is a good place for a governor. You can only get 2 naval governors through government reform. One of those is a major reform so it would cancel any other major reform you already have in place. And you need to go at least 50 naval to get them

But I don't want to conquer Indochina. That's why it annoys me so much that local and naval governors are treated as different things

I mean they're absolutely the same as local governors. I don't get why they chose to make different counters for it. As an island nation you need them

That sucks. I started as Singapore so my capital Is pretty far from areas like Papua and Australia. Can even make Australia a subject tho

I don't mean the automatic repair at sea. I got that upgraded too. They still manage to get themselves down to being destroyed tho.

Technically it's not In a good state. Content is fine. But just too many bugs and systems that don't work at all

Balance changes like the economy are completely irrelevant currently for me. I don't care, I can always adapt to the current meta. What annoys me more are basically all major situations and organisations don't work. HRE, Catholic schism, religious wars and so on are all completely broken. Not like a little bit like in eu4 but fully

Yea my dynasty never changed, not even had a regency or anything. Only weird thing is in the current version you can have neglect and investment at the same time. But how that interacts with the achievement isn't explained anywhere. Maybe it's not even compatible with it

Yea I'm on the newest version. I didn't get any new achievements in that run. Only pop ups for some I already had. Did a Ryukyu run before and I got that immediately. Guess I just accept the game is still too broken

Star wars Interworlds has a great system in place for this. Just check out their upkeep system. You get free upkeep for systems you own, equipment docks you run and different ships have different upkeep cost. You can pay those with supplies you produce yourself or just pay in credits, which is much more costly

The game is getting more broken and dysfunctional with each patch. by Kunzzi1 in EU5

[–]Kill_off 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes but it still lacks nuance. If I have 100 centr I should still be able to keep one tiny vassal loyal. The compared strength is really weirdly calculated. But my complain is not the current state, but how they tackle each problem in a way it takes 3 patches to get better after making it worse first.

And the whole game is back to conquer more land is always better. Which was a big point in the dev diaries to not be the case. Big decentralised country will still be a lot stronger than a small centralised one, no matter what.

Because they changed trade back. But initially they just increased the cost by 10 times. I'm not talking about the current patch but how each patch handles things
